2nd Gen Pkmn Gold: How?d you get pass the snorlax in kanto?

My frined has the Gold Pkmn game,and she can?t move on since the snorlax is blocking the way.We have activated the power plant,and the radios working (I read somewhere you need that to go trhough,but it ain?t working to play music for it).What are we supposed to do?

you need a certain tune..... and don't ask me which one bc i forgot..... probably Pokemon March, though....

go up to the snorlax , select the pokegear radio , play the pokefute channel , exit the pokegear and the option menu, click on snorlax and the pokegear is put next to snorlax that will wake him up, he will attack and you only get one chance to capture him. - this is the way i did it in pokemon crystal - it should work

Before you can play the pokeflute channel you need this radio card from some guy in Lavender town (I think). The card will upgrade your radio so it can recieve stations from Kanto. Then all you got to do is play it next to snorlax.

but............u need to find the missing machine part of the power plant generater..................and return it...............he should u a tm which contain zap cannon............
