Hi again. I also need help with my ruby team. I haven't finished this game yet mainly because I started again. Again, Every attacks, items and switches are welcome. Thanks
(Mainly lvl 35-40)

Ice Ball
Body Slam
Aurora Beam
Surf

ROSELIA
Calm nature

Absorb

BEATIFLY
Timid nature

Silver wind
Morning sun
Gust
Mega Drain

ALTARIA
Relaxed nature

Peck
Fury Attack
Take down
Dragonbreath

THANKS.

Roselia - There is no need for Absorb, Mega Drain, Giga Drain. I would teach it Razor Leaf.

Linoone - Why do you have a Linoone anyway?? If you really like it, take away Tackle...

Altaria - Don't use Take Down because of the recoil, use Body Slam as it has a chance of paralyzing.

This appears to be a team in progress, so I won't rate/fix it. Just remember to not give two attacking moves of the same type, avoid two-turn moves, and don't give Normal attacks to non-Normal Pokes. Oh and don't use any HM moves not called Surf.

I do really like your team. It is very powerful. I am impressed by the attacks and the pokemon themselves.

Really? I find myself closer to being depressed. Please don't post pointless and unjustified praise like this, people need to learn what they're doing wrong so they can learn to do it right, and people like you are just making it harder. xP

BLAZIKEN
Lonely nature

Blaze Kick Flamethrower
Peck Sky Uppercut/Brick Break
Double Kick Rock Slide
Ember Swords Dance

Nyah, I figure that you don't want to go through the pain of breeding, so just go with the standard set. Flamethrower over Blaze Kick for accuracy, Sky Uppercut is the strongest physical STAB move you will get while Brick Break is more accurate and can be used to break Reflect and Light Screen and Swords Dance can be used to increase Attack for serious sweeping.

SPHEAL
Lax nature

Ice Ball
Ice Beam
Body Slam Surf/Toxic
Aurora Beam Substitute/Toxic/Encore
SurfRest

Walrein is a great pokémon in UU, but ingame it kind of loses power since you can't get a proper Hidden Power [Grass] on it. At any rate, Ice Beam and Surf for STAB damage and Rest to keep it alive for tanking. For the last move, Substitute is quite powerful with Walrein's high HP, Toxic can provide extra damage (Optionally, you can also take it instead of the far too often expected Surf), and Encore can be used to lock your opponent onto a suitable move, after which you can switch out or tank (Depending on the move).

ROSELIA
Calm nature
Trait: Natural Cure

Rest
Leech Seed/Toxic/Stun Spore
Spikes/Filler
Magical leaf/Giga Drain

Bad statline, bad movepool. Besides, it's creepy. @.@ Just ger rid of it. If it's got Natural Cure, you can keep it alive a bit longer with Rest. But there's really no point in wasting a perfectly good TM on this thing. <<

LINOONE @ Choice Band
Sassy nature

Tackle Return/Double Edge
Fury Swipes Shadow Ball
Covet Brick Break
Headbutt Trick

Bad nature, weak pokémon, especially since it can't even get Extreemespeed since it's a box move. Bleah, it can make for a half-arse CBer, but really, I'd suggest ditching this one too. xP

BEAUTIFLY
Timid nature

Silver wind Psychic
Morning sun/Stun Spore
Gust Attract/Stun Spore
Mega Drain Giga Drain

And here we have abbysmally weak pokémon number 3, complete with a bad nature which handicaps its abilities further. Meh, Psychic and Giga Drain are the only move with any damaging potential due to the nature. For the rest, go with Attract and Stun Spore (Both learned by level) to minimize the amount of hits you take, because Beautifly certainly can't take them.

ALTARIA
Relaxed nature

Peck Flamethrower/Fire Blast
Fury Attack Dragon Claw
Take down Rest
Dragonbreath Ice Beam/Sing

You know, you've really got too many Rest-dependent pokémon on this team. :\ Anyways, it's a key move for Altaria since it lets you shamelessly abuse Natural Cure, allowing for some tanking. For damage, Dragon Claw might not be the strongest move around because of the lack of super effective hits, but at least it gets STAB, so go with that. A fire attack complements the move, giving full type coverage. Flamethrower for duration and reliability or Fire Blast for power. For the last move, Ice Beam can grant you some extra super effective hits, while Sing lets you incapacitate the opponent to get some extra attacks in while its asleep. Haze is quite common on Netbattle, but since this is Ruby you don't really need it much.

Overall, a seriously weak team with disorganized and dysfunctional movsets. Get rid of half of those and get some proper pokémon instead, it would really help your team a lot. Next time, also post the held items and traits of your pokémon, please.

People who don't know much about good movesets shouldn't be rating teams, and I'm sorry, matt-hay, but you're one of those people.

pikachugirl, don't make comments like that because they aren't helpful at all.

And prophet, PLEASE get rid of Roselia (one of the worst Grass Pokémon) and Beautifly (one of the worst Bug Pokémon). Catch a Heracross in the Safari Zone, and get a Ludicolo or Vileplume if you want a Grass Pokemon.

Changes in Bold. Linonne?

Blaziken should have leaned Flamethrower as a Torchic at lv.43 (or somewhere close to Lv.43, I don't remember). You can still use Flamethrower as a TM to teach it to you Blaziken.
My Blaziken is Mild Nature
Flamethrower
Sky Uppercut
Mirror Move
Fire Spin/Slash (I don't remember which, I have more than 1 Blaziken)
I haven't used any TM yet.

ALTARIA

Okay, what did I just say?

People who don't know much about good movesets shouldn't be rating teams

Sorry Te-em and lil-riyah, but you have a lot to learn about before giving moveset advice to other players.

~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~

aragornbird perish song is a really good move if you use it wisely, i've been playing since i was 8 andi find it quite offensive being called a person who doesn't know much about good movesets. And my Altaria has those moves, i've been through the elite for 5 times with JUST my altaria who mind you is on level 71. And i did NOT rate the team i just posted a suggestion.

LOL I wouldn't be too proud about beating the Weak 4 with a Lv71 Altaria. That isn't a great big feat. Perish Song works on Altaria only if you have a Pokemon that can Mean Look and Baton Pass. Otherwise it is a wasted move when you can use the following moveset that is MUCH better

- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast/Flamethrower
- Rest
- Sing

Also, AB suggested not giving moveset advice to other players until you get more experienced, and by the moveset you suggested and the above post, I tend to agree with him.

What about my Blaziken? Is something wrong with it? I haven't taught it any TMs yet, because I have more than 1 Blaziken and want to save my Tms until I am sure how to use them. What move is it that I should have taught to my Pokémon that I havn't?
I think Flamethrower is better than Blaze Kick and Fire Punch, and I can use TM Fire Blast if I need.

Mirror Move
Fire Spin/Slash (I don't remember which, I have more than 1 Blaziken)

And the Nature are wrong. Probably Mix blaziken can work but meh.

i'd kick roselia, linoone and beautifly

spheal is good when its walrein and the others are pretty good although the huge array of draining moves on roselia is a bit odd..

but i whore powerful pokemon so ignore me ^_^

What nature should a Blaziken have? I want to raise it Atk and Spec.atk, since they are highest. (Maybe its Spd also, I have one with Hasty nature). I think Lonely or Mild is okay.

Hmmm, if you want to go with the Atk set of Blaziken go with Adamant Nature and SAtk option of Blaziken is most likely modest nature.
