Plot hole?

Question - Charmander evolved wayyyyy earlier into charmeleon (in March of the Eggxecutor Squad if i'm not wrong) but in Snow Way Out (last few episodes of the Indigo League) he appears as Charmander again?

This is being discussed in another thread, but as a quick answer, that episode, among others, was just shown out-of-order.

There was once a episode which caused seizures. Pokemon was taken off air for sometime which are when these 2 episodes were supposed to air. The Porygon episode aired I beleive sometime in early December, so they just aired those 2 episodes later on.
