[PokeCommunity.com] Pokémon Black Pearl Emerald [V1.0.1] [COMPLETE]

THIS PAGE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! PLEASE BE PATIENT! THANK YOU!

    [V1.0] Release Trailer:

FULL PERMISSION FOR THE CONTENTS OF THIS THREAD TO BE HOSTED ON EXTERNAL SITES!

    Introduction:

Hello everyone. My name is CD, and this is my team's first ROM Hack! Even though we come from experience in coding, we spent several months learning how to develop using the Pokeemerald Expansion. The development team is made up of myself, Captain Cole, and Wake. We have been lifelong Pokemon Emerald fans, and have always had the dream to deliver our own flavor of a modernized Emerald version that appeals to the lifelong hardcore fans. This hack offers a Standard Mode as well as an optional built in Nuzlocke (Expert) Mode. All wild encounters, overworld trainers, bosses, gym leaders, and E4 have been handcrafted using Gen1-9 Pokemon. There is plenty more to unpack in the Features list below... With that being said, we sincerely hope you enjoy Pokemon Black Pearl Emerald!

    Story:
Our goal was to keep the majority of the Orignal Pokemon Emerald storyline in-tact. However, we have expanded a bit, and added a few significant pieces to the base storyline. The biggest changes to the story progression include: all new Gym Leaders + Elite 4 Members, all new overworld Trainer teams + Boss Teams, new Gen1-9 Wild Pokemon, a full Trick House rework in-between Gym4 and Gym5, a final boss rush through Victory Road (with some familar faces from several other regions), and a surprise new (but familiar) Rival...

    Features:
    - Modernized Pokeemerald Expansion: All Gen1-9 Pokemon, Moves, Abilities, Items, etc included.
    - Hand crafted new Gen1-9 wild encounters, overworld trainer teams, new Gym Leaders, and new E4 members
    - Advanced Custom Trainer Smart Ai (unlike any other Romhack)
    - Difficulty Options: Standard, and Built-in Nuzlocke (Expert) Mode (no need to keep track using spreadsheets/etc)
    - Several QOL Improvents: Immediate access to Old Rod, Immediate access to Fly, Grindless mode (unlimited Rare Candies, in Nuzlocke Mode only), Re-usable TMs (TM Package rewards from beating Gym Leaders), Pocket PC (access PC from anywhere), Picnic Table (heal entire party from anywhere), Pocket Watch (change time of day), modernized/easier evolution methods
    - Expanded Starter Selection (Mudkip, Treecko, Torchic, Honedge, Porygon, Paldean Wooper, Ralts, Eevee, Alolan Vulpix
    - Removal of EVs
    - Mega Evolutions
    - Overworld Day / Night Graphics
    - Expanded Shop Item Inventories
    - Verdanturf Hub Re-work (Move/Egg Tutors, Bean's Shop (all items available), etc)
    - Modern HM Usage (no need to teach party Pokemon HMs for use)
    - Updated Battle UI (shows move effectiveness, power, etc)
    - Updated Battle Item Rewards when beating Gym Leaders/bosses
    - Move Re-learner in all Pokemon centers
    - Full revamp of overworld findable items
    - Shiny odds changed to 1/512
    - Full Trainer/Wild Encounter google doc

Does this have Experience Share All?
The current link is for 0.9.9.3 patch. Within the next couple days, we will drop the 1.0 patch, which will contain exp share for whole team. Keep in mind, that only applied for Standard Mode. Nuzlocke (EXPERT) Mode has Rare Candy Jar, meaning it's a grindless experience.

Have you added a way to change your Pokemon's IV's, nature, and ability?
IV are not changeable, and that was a design choice. The only exception, is your starter has all perfect IVs. There is a built in IV viewer though, in the party menu, click "STATS".

Throughout the story, the Player can find several Ability Patches/Capsules as well as Nature Mints in the overworld.

So in ver 1.0 can we play all the way till end game? which is missing for the future update? Thank you!

There is a full working battle frontier in this hack?

Seems like a good game i do have one tiny question is it possible to evolve early stone Pokemon like Nidorino or Vulpix without losing any moves ? I always hated having to keep for example Growlithe until level 40 just to have good moves on Arcanine.

    Can we manipulate IVs?
All enemy Pokemon (trainers, bosses, etc) have Quirky (neutral) nature, and all 15IVs. Wild caught Pokemon have random IVs and random nature.

No manipulating IVs currently. We are considering adding bottlecaps in next update.

There is a Move Tutor (relearner) in every Pokecenter. He can re-teach those "lost moves". No need to worry about evolving something too early.

Please consider giving us the option to use items in battle (at very least on Normal Mode), as not only some people would perfer to be allowed to use items in battle, but using healing items outside the battle is pointless when the Picnic Table exists.

Did you make any changes to pokemon like swapping sceptile's attack and special attack, gave them different abilities, or making move changes like making blaze kick have 100% accuracy?
