    Welcome to Pokémon Cinder Fall!

    This FireRed ROM includes:
    • All Pokémon Gen I-III obtainable
    • 3 new islands to conquer, as well as Navel Rock and Birth Island
    • One New Dive Route
    • One Sandstorm Route that requires GO-GOGGLES to pass
    • One Hidden Route with a Dynamax Pokémon
    • Physical/Special Split
    • Every Trainer has a new team
    • Competitive Gym Battles with 6 Pokémon each
    • Increased Shiny Odds
    • 25+ Static Encounters
    • 10+ New Shiny Sprites
    • New Pokémon moves, abilities, and stats
    • Gym Leaders and Bosses from Pokémon Emerald
The aim of the game was to make a more difficult ROM with all Pokémon available, while balancing out some weaker Pokémon to make them more usable.
The game is also semi hide-and-seek inspired, with all Legendaries available in difficult to reach places, and many easter eggs.

This patch should be applied to Pokemon - Fire Red Version [a1] (U) (Squirrels).

So I sat down and played this game for a little bit. I'm going to leave at DNF.

It just needs some heavy balancing, or some rare candies. Because the grind necessary to beat this hack would be way too much.
Just in the beginning section fighting the rival was crazy. I got to Brock afterwards and sheesh. I imagine having to grab a new team for each badge and then grinding them against wild pokemon, or just way over leveling.

I appreciate the effort you put into this though, and thank you for sharing this game.

I totally hear you, Brock is one of the harder leaders because options at the beginning of the game are limited, and even though his average level is 9.5, his Pokémon have very good moves.

There are seven rare candies available before Brock, and fifty hidden around the map, and all xp is multiplied by 1.25 so later in the game is less grindy.

That being said maybe in the next patch I'll make Brock a little easier because I have noticed that people say he tends to be a wall haha, thanks for the feedback.

Can you please tell me what's the shiny odds

From what I've seen/played, this hack really is quite difficult. So maybe in a future update, you could add a Minimal Grinding mode to essentially do away with EV/IV grinding as well as a Nature changer.
    Hey DJ,

Thanks for the feedback! I have heard that the game is grindy, so I just uploaded a new patch today. Trainer battles now give 1.75x exp rather than 1.5, and you start out with a lucky egg. Hopefully this will help with both the grind and the difficulty.

For me, it's more about not having to worry about as much RNG involving EVs/IVs and Natures. Alot of folks tell me I dont need to worry about it, but Minimal Grinding modes to remove the EV/IV issues help me. It's a mental thing.
