Alright. This is my first post, but all I want to do here is publish my fangame.
This fangame goes about the typical Pokemon experience, gyms a rival, etc.
It's made on RPG maker XP, using Pokemon Essentials. This is my first game ever!
But it's a new region, of course. And new antagonists. The region will be based loosely on Australia! All the gym
leaders will be returning from original games, with their unique dialogue (written by me).
I'm not a good spriter or musician, so all the music and sprites are grabbed from other games.
I hope you still enjoy it! It's a casual project however, so don't expect it to be very good...I don't want hate, I only wanna publish my game.
I haven't made the town map yet (it's actually made now tho) since you can't fly. But I have a basic idea of how the region will be like.
The towns are named after berries, by the way. There are some plot points that don't make much sense, like how Ditto can talk, but that
will be explained later. Btw the plot will get a bit crazy later on so I hope you're ready.
Here is the basic idea of the plot:
In this game, you and your father Bill (yes, that Bill, the one who invented the storage system) have moved to the region-island of Ausri as a vacation.
Professor Oak decided to come too, to explore a new land and give Pokemon to the teenagers of the island.
You just woke up after a odd dream, in the day where you must receive your first Pokemon. Your rival, Alex, who lives next door, had received a Bulbasaur
already yesterday. After obtaining your starter Pokemon (Squirtle, Eevee or Pikachu) you set out to explore the island.
The antagonists are a Ditto, with his two allies who have rebelled against humanity after plenty of being badly treated by humans.
You'll find out how they plan to have revenge on humanity as you progress further into the game.
This demo goes all the way until right after the third gym.

Returning Pokemon up to Gen 3 (some may not be included, gen 3 Pokemon can only be found in a post game zone. Pokemon past gen 3 may appear in trainer battles, but will be unobtainable)
Starters in the wild
Different starter selection (Squirtle, Eevee and Pikachu, you're meant to start with Squirtle for the typical experience tho)
Returning gym leaders
(sadly there's no gimmick, but I may include terastalization for the last gym leader...Actually, I've decided to discard that idea)

All the dialogue and maps are made by me, but here are the other credits:
Sprites: Nintendo, Pokemon Essentials, aveontrainer, PurpleZaffre and Star Sparkless. (those last three are for the firered bugsy sprite),
SoulfulLex on eevee expo for putting and adapting the frlg styled sprites of gold and silver together, credits also to the original creators
of those sprites!
Music: Nintendo, Chunsoft (the music is from Pokemon, the mystery dungeon series, and miitopia.
a single song is also made by campyfire)

I'm getting to work on the 2nd demo, I was taking a break planning the music that I will use for the new bosses.
The new demo will take a while, but it will feature 3 more gyms (5 gyms total), a town map for the region and obtaining HM Fly.
A new rival battle and one or two new Pokemon boss battles aswell. (I'm not completely sure yet.) And don't worry, you won't have to sidetrack yourself for HM Fly.
There'll be a battle that once you beat it will award you with HM Fly. And for surf you'll get it with another battle around the mid/late game.
I decided to scrap the idea of leaving it until post game, now the post game island will be accessed through a dock if you have a ticket
you get after beating the Champion. I probably won't implement the other HMs. But I'll make two mini demos before demo 2, the first that I already made
for adding some few new areas, improving the maps and adding the town map, and a day/night cycle. The second will feature the 3rd city, gym and HM Fly.
Why day/night cycle now, though? Well, at first I was going for the firered approach, but I decided to change that now.
Demo 1.5 is out now!
I can't believe I did it so fast, but here it is.
I may have rushed it a little so I may release a patch if something is missing.
It includes:
-The ability to fish everywhere
-Sitrus City and the third gym
-The lost satchel side quest can now be completed
-A new Pokemon boss fight
Oh yeah, and I just released the patch that fixes some...oversights, like HM fly not appearing. It also
adds a area I should've added but forgot to do so.
