The region of Annohis is far south of Hoenn. It is meticulously placed, with temperatures low enough to house Ice Pokémon but warm ocean currents from Hoenn preventing it from freezing over.
Annohis is a region built on tradition, it is the Earth's last great monarchy. Because of it's royal heritage, Pokémon such as Slowking and Nidoqueen are held in a high regard. But above all are the Four Pokémon Princes, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and Manaphy. They use their mighty powers to inluence the area around Annohis and keep it safe. But even their powers don't compare to Annohis's rarest and most spectacular event.
The Great Concave of Legends.
Every hundred thousand years, all the Legendary Pokémon congregate in Annohis to rest for a year. All that is, except the Seven Lost Ones, Mesprit, Uxie, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Arceus, so named because they have either been asleep for centuries or reside in another dimension. These Pokémo have never attended a Great Concave, which is just as well, as the Great Concave brings dire consequences. The sheer energy given off by that many Legendary Pokémon is more than a hundred atomic bombs. If there were too many more, the energy would rip a hole in the fabric of reality.
Unfortunately that is precisely wha is about to happen.
There will be three extra Legendarties this year, Mewtwo, Deoxys and XD001. However even with these three, the balance is kept and the world is safe and whole. But there is someone who doesn't want it safe and whole. Fallen Team Galactic Leader Cyrus, formed Organizaton Frozen Shadow in Annohis and now his plans are about to come to fruition. He plans on unleashing Giratina from the Underworld and overloading our univers with energy.
You are a young child from Ramme Town who recieves a Swinub from Elder Damuk. You set off on the Elder Quest, the Quest to defeat the Nine High Elders of Annohis. However you are approached by two mysterious Pokémon who warn you of the OFS's pland and tell you of five people with experience in Legendary Pokémon, Giovanni, Eusine, Michael, Maxie and Archie, who will teach all they know about Legedary Pokémon.
Armed with your Pokémon and the knowledge of the weakness of each of the twenty-eight Legendary Pokémon, you are given your final goal.
Enter the Underworld and defeat Giratina himself.
