Beta 1.0.3 Release
Mediafire: https://www.mediafire.com/file/dwyuefyhjoic70k/PokemonScionBeta3.zip/file
Trailer:
Pokémon Scion is a Pokémon Essentials project with a focus on challenging Pokémon battles and storytelling, inspired by the likes of Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD. Two girls explore a deserted research facility somewhere in Kanto, only to be wrapped up in Team Rocket's latest plan for global domination.
The game is about 6-7 hours long, and is feature complete. I'm releasing the beta now to fix some bugs and fine-tune the balancing before a full release.

How to Play + Documentation
Spoiler:
Download and unzip the file. Navigate to the 'Game' application and run it. Ta-dah!
There is a PDF included with the game files called 'Pokemon Scion Documentation'. This file includes a list of changes, as well as (almost) every Pokémon available in the game and their learnsets. Here is a rundown of the changes:
- Most Pokemon who are not visibly touching the ground now innately gain the effects of the Levitate ability, on top of their regular ability.
- Mud Slap and Sand Tomb ignore Levitate, though Flying-types are still immune.
- The Ice type now resists Water and Grass, and is no longer weak to Rock.
- Magnitude's base power is less variable, now ranging from 50 to 100.
- Steel-type Pokemon are now immune to Leech Seed.
- Eevee will evolve into Umbreon at level 32 if the friendship requirement is not already met. Eevee no longer requires high friendship to evolve into Sylveon (though you will need to get to the point in the story where a Fairy move becomes available). Espeon is not available.
- Golbat now evolves at level 48 instead of having a friendship requirement.
