Note: Firstly done in Spanish, has been translated by a small work team and me (Dragonsden). "Fire Red: Rocket Edition" created by Colonelsalt is a different game. View attachment 156724
Covering the entire timeline from FireRed/LeafGreen to Gold/Silver (+3 years), experienced from the perspective of Team Rocket.
Pushing the limits of what's considered canon.
To fully develop and include the regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and the Sevii Islands.
INTRO:
Spoiler:
You start as a mere Grunt at Five Island Warehouse. Intending to gradually ascend within the organization by successfully completing the missions assigned by your superiors.
Your story unfolds within the same timeline as the beginning of Red and Blue's adventure. Since you'll be transferred to Kanto at a certain point, you'll have the chance to witness Red/Blue's story from the perspective of a Team Rocket member. Moreover, you'll get to see everything that happened behind the scenes (here, of course, we delve into theories), aiming for everything that occurs to be considered canonical within the original games.
Therefore, the idea of this hack is that you, as a random Rocket Grunt, can do everything in your power to reverse the classic scenario where Team Rocket and Giovanni are defeated by Red, partly seeking justice by giving a villain our player ability. This will lead to a clash between this and the canonical story (which will be maintained in this hack) that we all know.
All that being said is, albeit a percentage, only the initial part of our adventure (KANTO), as we'll also journey to Sevii, Johto..., we'll see some of the biggest projects that Team Rocket had, with a good portion of the game dedicated to revealing several secrets and theories that many of us may have suspected but were never confirmed, in addition to experiencing events such as the collapse of Lavender Tower, the construction of the train tracks, etc.
FEATURES:
Spoiler:
Physical/Special split system from 4th gen.
Replaceable HMs and unlimited TMs.
Pokémon, moves, and items up to 8th gen (some from 9th).
Up to 99,000,000 POKÉ as new money limit (Team Rocket pays well).
Quick EV train system ( 3000 Poké per Vitamin, and allows the use up to 250 Evs).
Indoor running activated.
Trade evolution system removed, allowing all Pokémon to evolve by level or other methods (document within the download indicates all changes).
Slight modification to Base Stats and types of some Pokémon: Affecting only a few Pokémon and will be quite light, making them, in my opinion, more coherent with what they should be as Pokémon, and in other cases coherent with their role within this hack (document within the download indicates all changes).
New Pokémon (Rocket experiments, unique Pokémon...) with lore that explains their presence within the canon.
PARTICULAR GAME FEATURES:
Spoiler:
Experience the true face of the Kanto region: Discover the reality behind each character once Red disappears from the scene, and the various conflicts and interests within the region, as well as the actual situation in Kanto.
Hierarchical system within Team Rocket. You will ascend as you complete missions, and your appearance will change accordingly.
Currently around 45 hours of gameplay (30-35 hours in Kanto, 10-15 hours in Sevii).
Customized music for most important battles, as well as for numerous unexplored areas in FireRed.
A lot of optional events and sidequests aimed at enriching your role as a Rocket recruit while obtaining unique items and Pokémon.
Countless new maps covering unexplored areas in the original games.
What's in the current download? Game projection for the coming months:
The current download includes the content of Kanto and Sevii. However, the translation of Johto and the DLC is already well advanced, and it is expected to be brought here soon.
Regarding .sav compatibilities, there shouldn't be any issues.
As for possible dates for the update with Johto and the DLC, it shouldn't take more than 3 months from the moment this post is published.
Thanks to Kakarotto, not only for helping me implement mechanics like the IV modifier, the overworld change upon promotion, acting as an impromptu tester, or the hard work, alongside Annatar, of inserting the entire Johto map along with its fly and healing spots, thus giving a greater impression of being truly in a new region, but especially for believing in this project and its potential practically more than I do myself (which is already difficult).
Thanks to KevinXDE and Polar for being testers; it would have been hard to find better recruits for that. They don't miss a beat, haha. Among other things, they've helped me realize that using paragraphs was (and still is) virtually non-existent in my writing style.
Thanks to Alexander Daniel and Scar™ for their countless sprites, minis, and artwork in general; I would have never included all those resources on my own.
Thanks to KevinXDE once again, for contributing his knowledge on decompilation and often paving the way during the development of the DLC, even despite his limited free time.
Thanks to my translation team: 'Daenerys, Infinit, DarkEdge and g0mm.

4) Apply patch
The UPs file for the romhack is linked in the descripction of the Trailer Video and Pinned in the comment section too:
You're probably between trainers where this would work, but one of the best ways to train prior to getting the call in front of Victory Road is by facing a boss trainer and losing against their last Pokemon. You don't lose any money for losing trainer battles in this game, so doing so repeatedly lets you Level-up your team. (The best ones are gonna be ones that are close to Pokemon Centers/healing points, but that'll depend on where in the story you're at.)
Bruno would have made a decent option to do this. But if you're passed that, I'm not sure of other choices at this time.
I have a question about the johto and hoenn expansions. How long are each of these portions of the game? Are they like entirely new games? Or are they similar in length to sevii islands?
have a question about the upcoming expansions. Will it be a sequel of the current game? Or will it be a new beginning with your current team (and box pokémon) all starting at lvl5?
How can I evolve Togepi? I been riding bike back and forth for days and he has exp share as well..I just leveled him up thinking it was enough friendship but no evolution

I'm working hard in both Hoenn (spanish) and Johto (English), adding a lot of more content, more than I could think a few months ago.
Improving the current Kanto/Archi7 translation as well, with the new cutscenes and sidequest it will be in the spanish Hoenn release. Improving scripts too. A lot of work, but next version would be considerably better.

I had also some computer problems this summer, anyways, is getting closer.

Thanks! Don't mean to be pushy, I just really enjoyed playing the first release and have been checking here pretty much daily. You did such a good job!
Personally, I don't care about 100% translations, it's the just the gameplay but if you are working hard to solve "problems" some people have with the language then fair play to you.
The world is a bit sinister at the moment and my life is very bland so I'm so looking forwards to distracting myself with the new content.
Big up yourself for a great job so far and, I'm sure, a great job of the new versions
I'm still pretty early in the game (I just completed the mission with Bill and the patent). I find this quite fun. My only critique so far is that the translation is still quite rough. A lot of the wording and typos just make reading a lot of the text a bit of a pain when some of the sentence structure simply doesn't make sense. However, I know that translating is a very difficult thing so I won't harp on it too much. Even though the dialogue can be jarring, it still doesn't take away from the overall good time I'm having. I can see some similarities between this project and the FireRed Rocket Edition but this is unique enough that I'll play as far as the game goes.

A sequel.
Use full CALCIUM, HP UP, CARBOS... is for friendship.
Holy shit! That's so much gameplay, fuckin awesome man! By the time everything comes out in English I'll have to replay from the beginning lol
It'd be cool as fuck to see like a whole series where Giovanni is the true mastermind behind all of the teams in every region, just being the behind-the-scenes benefactor that sets every game story in motion. Then he and Team Rocket swoop in after each team falls, consolidating power and resources in every region. Final game has you be Giovanni himself, win the Masters 8 tournament (beating Red in the final, who Oak has rebooted to be even better), becoming Monarch and taking over the entire Pokemon world basically
Just finished Kanto and thoroughly enjoyed this hack, big thanks to Dragonsden and the team for all your hardwork! Patiently waiting for the next translated installment now.
I do agree with other posters that in places the translation isn't perfect or is missing, it didn't ruin the immersion for me though. The translation also seemed to improve as the story progressed. I thought the story was great and well thought out. There is a good balance of qol improvements (I just wish I didn't have to teach my team HM moves) and the game can be surprisingly difficult in places. Finally, I really enjoyed the addition of reward pokemon, I found myself changing my team a lot throughout the story.
I would put this hack right up there as one of the best I've played.
So for the last few days i've been playing this game but i have chosen to not continue my run further.
Dont get me wrong, the game is amazing, i love the story and the way you rank up in team rocket.
But the grind is getting to me, i dont want to keep grinding and grinding to get strong enough to beat certain phases of the game.
For now i got until Surge, thats where my run ends, and up until then the game was a blast!
Thank you for this hack, maybe if there are some quality of life updates that i may continue this game.
Good luck with the translations and all the other work you are putting into it!
