    Pok?mon 2004 edition Newstopic

    Hello everyone,

    I workin' on a new game called Pok?mon 2004.
You play in an entirely new world, but you start out in Kanto.
To learn the basics when you are a newcomer to Pok?mon (Who is???^-^).
You'll need to aquire 4 badges and then the real story begins.......

    Features:

    - An entire new world: Gohto
    - Catch all 386 Pok?mon, who are to be found randomly in all worlds you play in
    - An new story
    - Alot of fun. ^-^

    Screenshots of the game:

Here are some links to my screenshots:

Lookin' good! If you need help with any coding, just let me know.

Also, plz give me credit for using my pokemon system set I drew. I know my art when I see it!

Hey, sounds like a good game. Keep it up!

Darkmage31 Could you help me with making a CBS that looks ike that of Pok?mon (I know you made a tutorial of it, but i still don't understand it and please in rm2k3 terms)

Not made but rather making. I'm currently creating a tutorial to help those trying to make a good pkmn game. It's not at a stage for distribution at the moment and I'm making it as easy as possible, so it's taking a lot of explaining.

As for help, there's lots of stuff you need to understand about RM2K before you even begin to think about making a CBS. Switches, Variables, Conditional Branches, Pictures, you name it, it's there. It requires time, effort, and a lot of custom work on your own part. There's no easy way out except for using RM2K's battle system and adapting it with Battle Events. If you are still interested, I can tutor you via Private Messaging, so feel free to open a correspondance.

Hey I'll give you a tip in making games.
Start with the cities rather than the routes
because it's faster, and when you've finished the cities,
you get a feeling of self-pleasure, and gives you the
    willingness to cary on.

Wow, that looks awsome, cant wait

Is Sharpedo still carrying on with this?
If he is I'll keep waiting!

Wow!!! Awesome... pssssst..(RPGM2K3 or RPG2k right?)

Edit:Nevermind... I guess everyone is using it....

There is already a pokemon 2004. The screenshots look good. Pokemon.

Maybe you could have pokemon. The next adventure or something.

Oh, rather starting on the battle system and stuff, you should
start on the maps in my opinion.

Those look really good! And your using my "Classical" message system set! (Just remember to give me credit for it, lol) I also really like that second one, the one that said "Viridian Forest." Do you get something like that every time you enter a town/city/route?
