Does the cloning method in Emerald clone the item to so say my torchic was holding a masterball would I be able to clone torchic and the m-ball?

Yes, but be careful with cloning; it can make your pokemon and, in this case your
only Master Ball, disappear forever and ever and ever.

You just have to pay attention and know what you are doing. That happened with my
Lunatone; I traded a Lunatone from my Sapphire before I reset it, and I gave it my only Master Ball to clone both of them, and I messed up and lost my only Lunatone AND my only Master Ball. GRRRRRRRR!

There is a far easier way to clone items.

Intead of withdrawing the Pokemon, just put the item in your bag. Your bag, the items PC, and your Party is what the game pre-saves during the pause.

Please don't spam. It's not good. This is about the cloning of items, which has already been answered.
