Pokemon.com has been updated with information on Fire Red/Leaf Green. Here is the article:

It?s coming! It?s bringing with it a whole new field of Pok?mon. It?s going to revolutionize game play. And it?s the future of Pok?mon!

It?s Pok?mon FireRed and Pok?mon LeafGreen, and it?s getting ready to explode on a Game Boy? Advance game system near you! On September 9th, 2004, Pok?mon trainers will be returning to the land of Kanto, and this time you are definitely going to get hooked up along the way!

Stay tuned to these pages for more information, as we hook you up with more info from E3 next week!

I just thought this was funny because its like 'as if we didnt allready know?'

I'm surprised they even have the cheek to even show the information. Although that's nothing compared to the UK, who have a tendency to release information about any game about a week before it's released... Still, I suppose it's "news" for people who don't go on unofficial (but much better) sites.

Wow, I'm surprised that they finally are talking about fr/lg on pokemon.com. I thought they never would until like July or August. They are so slow when it comes to talking about the games. The only news they ever have is stuff about partys at Pokemon Center NYC and Pokemon stuff being sold at the website, like little figures.

yeah me 2..... i also thought they would show at the last minute........

these guys are brainless...they think "we can keep silent and nobody hears it"....... but everyone knows....... I wish somebody would get them to get us news early and nice... XD

Who cares about the official sites giving us info early! I totally agree with Mr. Cat Dog. The unofficial are a lot better organized and get more accurate and detailed info about the games much earlier than the officials sites. The official sites are just the machines for milking the cash cows that the games will inevitably bring. That's why they talk more about merchandise and don't give the real scoop on anything new until they say the time is right to start teasing their targeted costumers with little tid-bits of info, gradually getting them excited about it until the game actually comes out and all the regular people who go to their sites only come pouring into the stores like a giant avalanche. If you ask me I'll just avoid all that anticipation and play the japanese version until the english one comes out.
