FireRed hack: Pokemon Crimson Red 2.5.3

Hey so i booted up the 2.5 version and for some reason when i start a new game there is no intro with Oak, it straights up puts me at the very beginning of the game and the character has already been named (Elaine). Is it normal ? Also is the discord sever down ? I tried to join it but the invite isn't working.

Yes, that's fully intentional. As for the discord I put a new link in the thread.

Hello, im getting the text error bug when i try to play the game in any battle: Like the hp from opponent is showing at same spot of pokemon sprite, also i can't see my hp etc. Im playing in miyo mini plus with mgba. any idea what could be? Ive used this version for patch because was the only one i founded that was compatible

So a few issues played the 2.5 version and immediately there is no level cap in the game and there was no option for the nuzlocke mode and the discord link isn't working too

This is a reoccurring issue that's been happening with the patch. It's an emulator thing, so if possible please switch your emulators if possible. There is no other fix as of now, sorry.

There is no level cap nor a nuzlocke mode. The closest thing to level caps is your levels scaling with your mons. As for the discord link I'll update it right away.

Huge fan of your work! I did use the TM case icons for some time before switching it with another one. I used so many of your tutorials and some of your injections/patches/assets and felt like I should give you my thanks. :)

I looked into the CFRU-expansion a while back and thought it didn't work when CFRU is already implemented but I'll play around with it cuz it looks perfect. I don't wanna burden you with a custom script but ty for asking!

Hi. Just checking if this is intentional or if the patch on GitHub is the incorrect one. It's v2.5.3.2.

After starting it mentions it's in beta & after clicking new game, it immediately starts as female character named Elaine.

Also noticed a small script error when choosing a starter. Oak still mentions the three Kanto starters but the choices were 3 from other regions (I can't remember who now).

Apart from that I haven't noticed anything else out the ordinary but I've also just came across the hack so yeah not sure if above with the preselected trainer is intentional or not.

Click on that link. on the right side of the screen should be the releases. Currentl, you should see 'Pokemon Crimson Red 2.5.3.2'. The IPS file should be in 'Pokemon.Crimson.Red.2.5.3.2.zip'. That has your .ips file.
