Chapter I: Hitoshi... I choose you?!
Welcome to the world of Pokemon. My name is Professor Birch?
Those texts appeared on the screen of Hitoshi?s Game Boy Advanced. It was his new Pokemon Emerald that his dad had bought for his birthday.
Hitoshi: All right! I?ll beat the game right now!
Hitoshi was very overconfident and cannot wait to finish the new game that he had waited for so long to come out.
Hitoshi is a 16 years old boy who lives in the capital city of Japan, Tokyo. It was one sunny day and he was sitting on his bed, playing the game happily. He was alone at home at that time because his parents were out of town and will be back late at night.
Hitoshi: Let?s see? Treecko, Torchic or Mudkip? Man... I am always stuck when I choose my starters...
He was excited to choose which starter he would use. As he was going to continue with his game, his doorbell rang. He pause the game and got up from the bed, wondering who is on the door. He peeked through the door but no one was visible. When he opened the door, he saw a box lying in front of him. ?To Hitoshi?, it read on the box.
Hitoshi: Hey! This is for me! Cool? I wonder what is inside.
He took the box and brought it up to his room. Then, he opened it using his cutter. He was amazed by what he found inside.
Hitoshi: Wha?? Isn?t this pokeballs? Wait a minute? there are more stuff? Pokedex and the map of Honenn! I wonder if my dad bought me these stuff for my birthday.
He excitedly took the six pokeballs and put it around his waist. He the put his pokedex into his right pocket and his map on the left one. Then, he took his backpack and stood in front of the mirror.
Hitoshi: Cool! I look like a pokemon trainer! Eh?? What is this?
Hitoshi found something on the box. It was a very shiny emerald and on it was very beautiful. Hitoshi was very curious and he extended his arm to pick up the stone when suddenly, it started to shine very brightly. Hitoshi became unable to move his body and everything around him started to shake. His body then starts to hover and the room was covered in green light, emitted by the emerald. Then, the emerald and hovered and blasted out a great amount of energy. Unable to withstand the power, Hitoshi white out.
Chapter II: Encounter of Two Souls
Aya: Good morning mom!
Aya's mother: Good morning dear? How was your sleep?
Aya: Good! I slept well and I have a feeling that I will be having a really good day today!
Aya's mother: That's good for you!
Aya then sat on the table to eat her breakfast. Aya is a 15 year old girl from Littleroot town and she is a very energetic girl. She is a pokemon trainer and the only pokemon she has is a Torchic. After having her breakfast and taking a shower, she went out of her house to do her daily morning jog. Equipped with her pokeball and her backpack, she went outside her house. Then, Aya released her pokemon.
Aya: Good morning Torchic!
Torchic was very happy upon seeing its master. Torchic was a gift from her father on her 15th birthday which was a week ago. She was very happy when she got it because it was her first ever pokemon. So far, she had been taking care of it very well and Torchic is getting closer to her every day.
Aya: Let's go for our training!
Then they went out of the town and headed towards Route 103 where they usually train. Joggin pass the Route 101 and Oldale Town, she greeted everyone on the street. Upon reaching the training ground, she was shocked by what she found. She found a Hitoshi lying between some bushes. He was unconscious so Aya decided to take him to his house.
Upon reaching her house, her mother quickly applied some ointment so that he will wake up.
Aya: Mother, is he dead? Have you seen him before?
Aya?s mother: He?s fine dear. I have never seen him before. I think he will wake up soon.
Soon, Hitoshi woke up. He looked puzzeled.
Hitoshi: Huh? Where am I? Who are you?
Aya: Don?t worry. You are in my house in the Littleroot Town. My name is Aya and this is my mother. I found you lying unconsciously on Route 103. Are you feeling OK?
Hitoshi: What? Route 103? Where is that?
Aya: It is the route just above Oldale Town. I found you when I was going to train my Pokemon?
Hitoshi: Did you just say Pokemon? Oldale Town?
Aya: Did I say anything wrong?
Hitoshi: But Pokemon are not real! Its just some kind of game!
Aya: So? what do you call this?
Aya threw her pokeball and Torchic appeared. Hitoshi was shocked and bewildered. He could not believe his eyes. A Pokemon right in front of his eyes!
Hitoshi: Wa?wa?wa?wa?WHAT? A Torchic? Pokeball? Holy ******* cow! This could not be happening!
Aya: (sarcastically) Thanks for swearing in front of my mother and me. I really appreciate it.
Hitoshi: Oh, I am sorry. Its just that I have never seen a real Pokemon before
Aya: Never? What do you mean never? You have never seen a Pokemon in your whole life? Which region did you come from?
Hitoshi: Region? What region?
Aya: You must be really stupid. I bet you knocked your head on a stone and fainted yourself.
Hitoshi: I am sorry but may I ask something?
Aya: Sure, go ahead.
Hitoshi: Is there a guy called Professor Birch in this town?
Aya: Yea. He lives next door.
Hitoshi: (glug?) And is there something called Gym nearby?
Aya: Sure there is. There is one at the Petalburg City. Why are you asking me these questions?
Hitoshi: Hold on? Just one more question. (seriously) Is this Japan?
Aya: Japan? What is that? Stop asking me these obvious questions? What?s with you anyway?
Hitoshi?s body became very weak. He just realised that he has just been transported into the world of pokemon! He was speechless, but somewhere in his mind, he was very excited. It has been his dream to be able to become a pokemon trainer in a pokemon game.
Aya: You look really stoned... I dont mean to be rude but you have not told us who you are...
Hitoshi snapped out from his shock and tried to regain his senses. He was wondering if he should tell her the truth about where he came from. If he told her the truth, she might be scared of him so he decided to make up his identity.
Hitoshi: Sorry... My name is Hitoshi. Thanks for helping me just now. I am fine now.
Aya: That's good. Which city did you come from?
Hitoshi: (using his Pokemon gaming experience) I came from Pewter City in the Kanto region. Its a region far away from here.
Aya: How did you get here anyway?
Hitoshi: (panicking) uuummmmmmmm............ (got an idea) Oh ya! I came by an air baloon. (eureka!) My baloon ran into a skarmony and it punctured it. I then fell from the sky. Luckily, my fall was cushioned by some trees. Then I dont remember after that. When I woke up... I was in your house.
Aya: Wow... that's amazing that you are still alive... Anyway... I see that you are carrying some pokeballs... Do you have any pokemon in it?
Hitoshi realised that he had the pokeballs that he found in the box. He also had a pokedex and the map with him. However, something was different with his clothes. It was just like the cloths of the male trainer of Pokemon Emerald!
Hitoshi: Erm... I dont have any pokemon yet... I was thinking of getting one though...
Aya: Then.... Why dont I take you to some grassy area tommorow and I will help you catch one!
Hitoshi: (excited) Really? Awesome! I can finally get a pokemon of my own!
Aya's mother: Since your home is far away, why dont you stay with us for the night? I have prepared a dinner for you too!
Hitoshi: Oh! Thank you very much mam! I really appreciate your kindness.
Aya: Its our duty to help those in need!
And that is how the two of them met. However, they do not realise that ther encounter will result a very exciting yet dangerous adventure lies ahead of them... They also do not relise that their encounterwill result in very painful future lies ahead of them...
That night, Hitoshi dreamed a very strange dream. He heard a cry of a pokemon but he cant figure out which. Then a voice appeared and said "Your journey begins here... I wish you all the luck"
