Pokemon Dream is hosting a special contest sponsored by Nintendo of America to celebrate the release of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. PokeDream.com is giving away 10 bundles of Nintendo GameCube and Pokemon XD (for US residents only)!!!

In addition, Pokemon Dream has exclusive info on the mini games in Pokemon XD.

Check out the contest and the exclusive content on the mini games below:

NOTE: Contest lasts 5 days, beginning midnight (Pacific Time) of September 26th

i dunno.. but the last few 'deals' with nintendo haven't worked out so well so i wish them the best of luck (and stongly suggest they put aside some money to buy the prizes they're offering)

BTW the mini game info ISN'T exclusive, PPN has had it for days..

    Yeah, i'd be surprised too -Nintendo normally do not set up any kind of affiliation or partnership with fan sites o.o;
I just hope that their fans won't be let down..

Well, this is real, and prizes will be sent.

Last year around this time, Nintendo allowed us to give away a Nintendo GameBoy Advance SP and 2 Pokemon video paks successfully. So, in fact, Nintendo is somewhat affiliated with Pokemon Dream.

The only other site that I know of that does this is Pokeschool.com

we were approached bny nintendo during the emerald release time frame and offered a nice prize package (emerald gba, emerald ex booster boxes and starter decks) for a contest run by us. Yet right at the last min, after we spent considerable time and resourses creating our contest (and site), Nintendo and Pokemon USA pulled out and renigged on their deal.
Just be careful and have some way to backup the prizes so your users won't be disappointed. (I ended up buying the prizes out of my pocket for my last contest)

    Hmmm

It doesn't seem really legit... I mean unless they sign some sort of contract Nintendo/Pokemon Company can pull out (Like Steve said) at any time.

I would be very weary of this contest :\ *hopes it legit*

Pokeschool and PE2K do it frequently~

Really nothing surprising. If you don't give anime spoilers and you're a big fansite, Nintendo could contact you. It's not extremely rare.

    Congrats to the winners*

And thanks for hosting this contest, we need more contests like this :) I hope Nintendo contacts you again in the future.

congrats to the winners and i hope you like your gamecubes you better enjoy while you can cause i'm gonna take 'em
