3rd Gen Pokemon Emerald?

Hey Im new so I dont know if posted this in the wrong place but I was wondering what pokemon should I pick and is there any walkthroughs you guys can post on here for me?

For starter I would go for Mudkip - evolves to a ground and water type that will help you out loads in the game. For in-game I would go for an electric pokemon : possibly Elecktrike
and a Makuhita for fighting.

I chose Treeko and he's kind of Medium.

If you choose Treeko, STRONGLY recommend an Azzumarril, to combat Fire... and to combat Azzumarril's weakness, Camerupt.
Camerupt would be VERY helpful, should you choose Treeko.

You dont really need a walkthrough for Emerald.

Just play it how you like and see if your strategy works

For example, i always catch a taillow for something with Fly that i can use later on

Like any other beginner trainers, you must explore yourself. There are lots of wonders in Hoenn. No matter what your starter pokemon, just keep in mind the word "balance".

Alright thanks yall So i plan on getting Mudkip but the problem is should i like try to catch all the pokemon or like try to train some and than once i beat the elite four get the rest so i can get a pokemon from birch?


Also umm like which pokemons do you reccomend to catch if i get Mudkip like i know to get Tailow but what others do you really reccomend!

You cannot catch any other starter pokemon, you must trade 'em. If you want suggestions, here's mine. I recommend Shroomish, for it's unique ability and super strong attack when it evolves, Zigzagoon, Electrike, Trapinch or Sandshrew and Duskull. This is my team in Emerald the second time I restarted it. I used Mudkip that time.
