?Today is the day! Today I get a pokemon!? Juno screamed running downstairs for his breakfast of pizza and chicken. With a soda pop! ?Thanks mom! Hey, did my pokegear get back from the shop yet??
?No, sorry honey, but I bought you a new one off of EBay. It came in the mail today, Happy Birthday!? Juno?s mom said giving him a kiss on the forehead. Juno had turned 13 today. That is a little late for a pokemon but his mom said no the first times. Today Juno starts his adventure. His adventure to freedom!
?Professor Maple called. They have got in 3 Charmanders, 18 Squirtles, 2 Washlinos. 1 Drakolome, 4 Gwelinos. Oh yes and 1 Bulbasaur.? Juno?s little sister said putting the phone back down. His sister, Laura, had 2 pokemon. A Washlino and a Tili. She had also found a egg of a pokemon, it was up near the dumpster by the lab. Laura had taken the egg in. It looked like a eevee egg, but those were very un common in Jengo Town. This town was full of opportunities but not Eevees. Juno finished his soda pop and walked on out. The grass was freshly cut that night in his yard. He turned around and saw a little girl and a Ralts.
?Hi, nice Ralts. When did you get it?? Juno asked her and petted the Ralts.
?Yesterday, your Juno right? The son of Ms. Hammers?? the little girl asked
?Yes.?
?Well, here this is for Ms. Hammers.?
Juno wondered what it was. It was a box with a gold and silver GS on it. He ran back inside gave his mom the package and walked back out. He saw the lab in the distance past a patch of tall grass. The only other path was the bicycle trail that really was dangerous because it was a highway to get to Jengo Beach. But he grabbed his bike out of the garage and rode his bike to Prof. Maple?s lab. He saw a line of people grabbing pokeballs. When he got up there 3 pokemon were left. A Washlino, a Drakolome, and a Gwelino. Juno looked at all the pokemon very carefully.
?What type of pokemon is Drakolome?? Juno asked
?Zzzzzzzzz?.huh? Oh. Oh. Ummmm a Fire/Fighting type.? Prof. Maple said, he was tired from the many people all day long.
?Im your last customer for the?.? Juno started as a door bashed open and in walked a scruffy young teenager.
?Maple, I didn?t know you had scum here!? The scruffy guy said.
?Speak for yourself!? Juno said taking a pokeball of the counter.
?Oh yeah?? the scruffy guy said
?Hey! Billy, you know better. Out both of you!? Prof. Maple said. Juno walked out. He had a pokemon, but was it what he wanted? He threw the pokemon down. The ball opened and out came a little snake with 2 arms and 2 legs. Covered in spikes. It breathed fire. Drakolome. The scruffy guy named, Billy threw out a Charmander. It looked pretty strong.
?Ready for that battle, shrimp?? Billy said as Charmander grew fire in his hands. Juno thought about it and answered with a yes.
?Yes, lets go!? Juno said as Drakolome powered up.
