Yeah... I was bored and I hadn't written a fic in a long time so... here's a new fic!
Basically this is like the games FireRed and LeafGreen but the main boy character (Red) isn't in this fic so sorry all you Red-fans. Only Blue (The girl character) and Green (Rival) are in it... except that the girl is named Nicole, the boy is named Gary. I'll be following the game's plotline except with more detail... and other stuff. >.>
In this fic they minimize the items... cause I have no clue how the heck you could fit that much stuff in a bag. 0_o
So.... enjoy!

Chapter One: It... Begins.
It was peaceful, cool yet sunny Fall day in Pallet Town. Pallet Town wasn't a very big town... now PokeMarts or grocery stores which was a problem, no Pokemon Centers, and consisted of only three buildings. Two which were houses and the other the lab of Prof. Oak.
A girl around the age of eleven, was lounging in her room reading a book. She had carmel brown eyes and long chesnut brown hair. Her clothes consisted of a blue tanktop with a black tanktop underneath, a cherry red pleated skirt, black wristbands and sky blue baggy socks.
Hanging from a bed-post was white hat with a red Pokeball logo and a yellow shoulder bag. On the floor beside her bed rested white and red shoes. This girl is Nicole Day... an ordinary girl whose life will soon take a spin.
Nicole, Nicky as people called her, groaned and flung her book to who knows where. She blew a strand of hair that fell infront of her face away and sighed.
'Ugh... there's nothing to do... it's SO boring.' She thought in her head as she glanced at her computer with a frown.
'The internet is down so I can scratch the computer off my list... oh well.' Nicole thought as she stood up, ran her fingers through her hair and walked towards her computer and sat in the cherrywood seat.
She browsed around until her eyes widen slightly. A white and purple colored spray-like machine rested in her Items List.
'Why would I need this? Oh well...' Nicole thought as she withdrew the Potion.
She walked towards her yellow bag and slipped the Potion, minimizing it first, into one of the large side pockets.
"Nicky! Will you come down her please?" She heard her mother call from the kitchen.
"Coming!" Nicole hollered back as she placed her hat over her head. She slipped on her shoes, and slung her bag over her shoulder and headed downstairs.

"What did you need me for?" Nicole asked her mother who... appeared to be crying.
Her mother looked at Nicole with teary eyes... then burst into sobs and practically glomped Nicole.
'Wha?' Nicole thought as she sweatdropped.
"Nicky, you're going to be just like your father!" Her mother sobbed.
"What are you talking about?" Nicole asked as she wriggled from her mother's grasp.
"You're going to become a Pokemon trainer!" Her mother answered.
