Get it to atleast Lv. 60 for Flamethrower, and teach the rest of those moves by TM. Thunderpunch for Waters, Earthquake for Rocks, and a Minty Rest just to stay alive longer.

Fire Blast
Thunder/Thunderpunch/Ice Punch/Blizzard

Fire Blast for Steel types, and choose anyone of those special moves for its last slot.

Red Gyrados Lv31

Basically an all out special sweeper, although a rather inaccurate one.

Pidgeot

The moves above are about as good as you'll get for Pidgeot. But Dodrio is a much better Flying type.

I'm not sure if you're evolving for a Scizor or keeping a Scyther. Scyther is still a great Pokemon that can work without evolving.

My advice: Don't use Magmar. It learns basically the same moves Typhlosion can, except Typhlosion is much better.

Minty Rest isn't prefered in-game considering there is a limited number of berries.
