I'm starting up a hack (this one I'm bent on finishing), called Pokemon Masters. This is how the story will go -
Every 8 years, a new Pokemon Master is chosen. The Pokemon Master, chosen by the Master before him/her, must have skill and knowledge of Pokemon supreme to that of others. The job of the Pokemon Master, simply put, is to give the newly populated continent of Bohrojo a sense of nationalism, and give aspiring trainers something to shoot for.
6 years have passed since Brice was chosen by Gold to become the new Pokemon Master. With his Pokemon and a billiard stick given to him by the last Master, he vowed to protect his country and to bring his country honor. He has never lost a battle, and is the supreme authority on Pokemon. Many think of him to be unbeatable.
You don't.
You, armed with a single Pokemon and unfaltering determination, decide to leave your hometown of Kant and attempt to make yourself known as a masterful trainer. Your dream is to beat Brice before his term as Master is over, to make yourself known to Brice and to the world, in order to become the new Pokemon Master. Do you think you can do it?
-----------------
I plan on making this game quite a bit harder than that of previous Pokemon games. You can expect the Elite 4 to have Pokemon in the 70s+. I'm also going to be replacing certain Pokemon and putting in new Pokemon, some of which will be in the Pokedex, some of which won't. The game won't fall within the storyline of previous games, but rather the manga. Gold will be in his 60's, so its a respectable time jump. You WILL meet up with several characters from previous games, and you'll even inherit a special Pokemon... one that I'm not going to mention, but one that fans of the manga have seen throughout nearly each of the series. Team Rocket is back, and under a new leader - with new plans. Also a new rival team is introduced, called Team BIO, under the command of two masked fellows who each weild a special Legendary Pokemon.
I like the premise, and I think I can pull it off. You guys like?
