    Pokemon Skorne

    Welcome to my Pokémon fan-game Pokémon Skorne.


    The idea for this game stems from wanting to have a more action packed pokemon game, where there is live-action combat where you influence your Pokémon by giving it commands whilst immersed in the 3D world.

    The project is very ambitious with a lot of content and systems written completely from scratch using Unity engine. I will be using this thread to give updates on my game and show my current progress, perhaps I will use this thread to keep track of my general progress. I also post in the dedicated (barebones) discord server here. The Discord server also has a git webhook showing my progress by git commits I make. If I'm happy with the progress of the game I may consider reqruiting people to speed up the progress.

    The current main goal is to make the first 251 Pokémon, including evolutions from later generations e.g Yanma => Yanmega. Implementation of the full Johto/Kanto region and adjusting the models from these regions to fit the 3D perspective the game has.

    Mind that the game is still quite barebones visually aswell.

    Here is a video showing off the intro to the game, its very much a work in progress but the general idea is there. Parts of the maps filler are missing, Pokémon to live up the scenes are missing. But it shows the general idea

     
    The summary interface is now functional and lets you change pokemon movesets on the fly, also a total of 218 moves have been implemented! 1/3 of the way if all moves were to be implemented.
