Pokemon: Taion!

OOC: VERY DEEPLY ABOUT THE DOUBLE POST!!! I just wanted to make sure that everyone saw the roleplay.

Our three heroes have just been attacked by four Bouquails, small green, grass pokemon. Ty and co. had released their starters to attack the pokemon, Ty had just thrusted a pokeball and had caught his very first Taion pokemon,

"Wahoo! My very first Taion pokemon, thanks to you Skorch!" Ty picked up SPutteren who smiled. Ty looked over to found his two friends battling off a few feet off.

"Alright! It's weakened, Go Pokeball!" Pat thrusted his capsule at the bird pokemo, it began to fumble on the ground as Pat walked towards it,

"I-I think I got it." He reached for it when a blinding light released the bird, pecking Pat on the arm. A few feet away from Pat was Yuko battled a third Bouquail with her grass starter, Petital.

"Alright!.... I don't think it's gonna work." She let out as the bird was sucked in, the sphere fumbled in place when a familiar ding was heard. She smiled,

"I-I caught it!" Pat was angered he didn't catch it,

'Hmm. S-Should I try again?' Pat thought.
 
"If only you knew an Ice attack this would be a better situation instead of steaming on like this.. Alright Dolphina, Tackle it, at full power! But only attack when I give the Signal!"

The trainer said, with his hand on his chin, showing that he was thinking for a couple seconds. He notices the Bouquail pecking at him, so he shakes it off his shoulder. The Bouquail is rather damaged, so Pat catches it, and sets its feet on his left finger, the Bouquail is afraid of getting attacked again. He reaches his right hand up into a nearby tree, picking out an Oran Berry. He holds the berry up to the bird Pokemon, as it begins to eat it, restoring its health. The grass Pokemon confusedly looks at him, but it flies off of his hand. Bouquail flies, looking one more time back at Pat, but it flies down seeing the empty failed Pokeball on the ground. It presses it, getting sucked into the Pokeball by its own self will. Now there is no way for Pat not to catch the Pokemon, seeing as it came to the Pokeball by its own self will. Pat picks up the ball, looking down at it with a smile. Dolphina gets rather mad however, seeing as it did'nt get to fight.

However, a Skume comes out from a nearby bush, so Dolphina willingly decides to full power Tackle it, slamming both Pokemon crashing into a tree, little recoil damage for the water Pokemon. Dolphina jumps backwards, not getting damaged very much, and it fires off a series of bubbles at the already weakened Skume, damaging it more. Dolphina decides to go in for another tackle, as the Skume barely gets up and tried to attack back, but the speed is of Dolphina is to great so it tackles Skume once more.

"Well, if you must insist.."

Pat reaches into his pocket grabbing out an empty Pokeball, throwing it at the severely damaged, nearly fainted Skume. The Pokeball slammed onto its head, knocking it backwards a little onto its back, it gets sucked into the Pokeball without much effort, there is a high chance it will be caught, however Pat still looks down at Dolphina shaking his head.
 
After succesfully catching her Bouquail,Yuko looks up to see Pat try to catch a nearby Skume.After Dolphina rams into it,Pat takes out a pokeball and throws it at the Skume.It wobbles ounce.

Thrice.
*click*
Pat had had successfully captured it.he slowly walks toward it.he picks it up.It stays unmoving.
"good for you."Yuko tells Pat.
'We better keep moving"Ty says"We don't want to let the professer down."
All three nodded.
And they were off.
 
Ty walked besides his two new friends, Ty had just caught his own Bouquail. Yuko had caught her own Bouquail as well. Pat on the other hand not only caught a Bouquail, but had also caught a Skume! Pat lovingly rubbed his cheek against his newly caught Skume's pokeball,

"I'm so lucky I caught you Skume!" Ty sweatdropped as he saw the sight. Yuko smiled,

"So, how close are we to Bambotta City?" Ty looked over to Yuko, who merely shrugged,

"Let me check..." Yuko flipped open her pokedex to find they were only about half a mile away.

"We're close, don't worry. We're almost there." Ty nodded, when a figure, tall and imposing appeared. The tree's shade covered the figure in shadows. The figure walked closer to the trio only to reveal a smiling face in an apron, a young man about 18.

"Hello! I'm Mister Yuzimo! I'm the manage of the Bambotta Pokemart! How are you three trainers doing? I have a question to ask you! Hmm. Have you seen a plastic card out on the road?" The trio looked at one another and Ty spoke out,

"Sorry mister, but no. No we haven't. Why?"

"Well you see, as manager of the Pokemart, I'm the one who has to open up the shop. But... I kind of lost the door key." The man sweatdropped,

"Wel. Don't worry! We'll help you! Right guys?" Ty looked over the the trio, who roughly nodded.

"Well thank you youngins'! Let's get to looking!" The man led the trio around the large plains in search of the key card when Pat spotted it next to a grass patch. Mr. Yuzimo ran over and picked it up only to find a small, black pokemon attatched to it,

"It's a Skume!" Ty yelled out.
 
By the time Pat had caught Skume, and he looked down at his three Pokeballs, rejoicing at having three Pokemon already, Skume, Bouquail, and Dolphina, though he isn't very proud of Dolphina's behavior performance, he is still happy to have three potential powerful Pokemon on his side. He puts his three Pokeballs in his pockets, though from now on Dolphina and Skume might have a little rivalry with eachother. He turned his iPod back on, the rest of the My Chemical Romance song finishing, the next song on his playlist is, "Wings Of A Butterfly-H.I.M. More lyrics are heard once more.

Of course he does'nt get very far in the song, being disturbed by the apparent PokeMart owner. As everyone begins looking for the PokeMart key, the store owner finding it with a Skume. He picks up on of the Pokeballs from his pocket, throwing it out, yelling, "Go Bouquail!", pressing the button in the center of the Pokeball expanding it, and throwing it out towards the Mart owner and the Skume.

"Alright Bouquail, time to show me what you can do, use your Peck Attack on the Skume with the key, and try to get the key as well!"

Bouquail flies out towards the Mart owner and the Skume, attempting to peck at the Skume, and attempting to get the key.
 
After they head off,a young man approavhs them."Have you seen a plastic card,a door key?"he asks.
"No."Ty says"But if you want we can help find it for you."
"Yes.I Thank you sincerly."
After searching awhile,Pat spots it lying in the grass.
Turns out,a Skume had gotten ahold of it.
Pat sent out out his Bouiquail."Bouquail,Peck attack!"he ordered.The Bouqail obeyed.He rapidly pecked at it.The starteled Skume opened its mouth and dropped the key.It then ran off into the wild.
"Thank you for retriving the key!"the manager exclaimed"You should see me in Bambotta.I can then thank you properly."

A few minutes later,they were off to the road again.
"Dude!"Yuko yelled at Pat"I keep hearing the song Dead!Don't you have any other songs on that blasted IPod!?"
"Yes,and-"
He stopped short.
They had arrived in Bambotta City.
 
Bambotta City!

Pat had sent out his Bouquail, ordering him to peck the opposing Skume. The wild Skume fled shortly after, leaving the lone, plastic card in the hands of the manager,

"Thank you deeply!" Mr. Yuzimo shook the trio's hands and smiled greatly. Ty sweatdropped,

"No prob, it was actually Pat who did all the work." Ty motioned to Pat and his Bouquail.

"Yes, but you two helped! When you reach Bambotta stop by the Mart and I'll thank you properly!" Mr. Yuzimo smiled and ran off, leaving dust behind his trail.

The Trio was now walking down the road yet again, in hopes of reaching their destination, Bambotta City. Yuko and Pat argued about his ipod for awhile as Ty was absorbed in checking on the data of his pokemon. Yuko then stopped and halted the other two,

"Look... Bambotta City!" She yelled, ecstatic. Ty gaped at the rising buildings. From what Ty could see, it hosted a Pokemon Center, the oh-so-familiar Pokemart and many building nestled neatly inbetween and behind them.

"Let's Go!" Ty yelled out, and dashed away. Pat and Yuko running behind him. They entered the large city,

"Where do you wanna go first!? The pokemon center, claim our reward at the mart, or visit the gym!?" Ty asked his friends.

OOC: For future reference, in the matter of battles, pokemon battles, ect., look at the first post in this thread to view your current pokemon owned, pokemon levels, and attacks, and current status.(Poisoned, burend, ect.)

"Well girl I only have 21 songs on my iPod, but they are good ones, at least in my eyes. Killing Loneliness and Wings of a Butterfly by HIM, Linkin Parks entire Minutes to Midnight Album, a Techno version of their song Numb, Welcome To The Black Parade and Teenagers by My Chemical Romance, Make Damn Sure and Liar by Taking Back Sunday, Numb Encore Remix, and American Idiot by Green Day. So be happy with the songs at hand!"

He said, playfully glaring at Yuko. He then has a slight laugh, wondering why he is one of the only people that likes the kind of Music on his iPod, how it always turns into an argument. However, he decides to turn his iPod's volume down for the moment, so another argument does'nt stir. A smile spreads across his face upon reaching the City, hearing Ty ask what they should do first.

"Well, Skume, Bouquail and I will get a little bit of training for the Gym. I will battle first however, so you two can see what kind of Pokemon the Gym Leader has so you two will be better prepared."

"Well I like the songs,but don't replay one over and over again!"Yuko said to Pat.
"Whatever."
"Uh,guys"Ty says"Hello,Bambotta City."
"oh"they both said.

"This is smaller then Goldenrod."Yuko said."They both have gyms though.Where is the Gym,anyway?"
"Look up"Pat says.
"Oh."
"Bambotta Gym"Yuko read aloud."Gyn leader..."
"Leader what"?Ty asks
"I can't see it,"Yuko said."Its blocked by some damn kids graffiti."
"Then we'll have to find out!"Pat said cheerfully.
"Huh?"
"Come on!"

Yuko and Pat continued to talk about his ipod when Pat said something,

"Let's go to the gym! You know, check it out before we challenge the gymleader." Pat suggested. Ty nodded,

"That's a good idea, who's the gymleader?" Ty asked, Pat shrugged,

"Look it up." Yuko flipped out her pokedex and read the data:
Bambotta Gym
Type: Uhknown
Gymleader: Uhknown

"T-That's wierd." Ty said. Pat nodded,

"Let's go read the entrance sign. IT should say the gymleader's name." Ty suggested, Yuko ran over to the sign and read it,

"Well?" Pat let out.

"I can't read it, it's blocked by some damn kid's writing." Yuko said.

"Well, better go check it out then." Pat said, dashing towards the gym. Ty soon followed, Yuko behind him.

They reached an old, dusty building. The words: GYM, written above the ntrance door.

"Wow, this is old. I don't think anyone's been here for years." Ty said, Pat gripped one side of the door,

"Ty, hold the other. We'll pull them apart so we can get in." TY nodded and gripped the other side, the pulled and pulled until eventually they slid the doors apart. A dark, mossy, room opened to them. Little light was let in, the only light in the gym was let in by cracks of the wood covering the windows.


"Look, I-I think this is the gymleader!" Yuko motioned towards a small pillar, a head-like object on top of it.

Yuko was right. It was the head of the gymleader, but half the face was broken off, and you couldn't read the name. It was too mossy, and dusty.

A large, sturdy net was thrown over Ty, Yuko, and Pat, immediately closing the ropey bonds around the group tightly.
Pat's face contorted with shock. "What the-"

"What is this? A trap?" Ty yelled out.

"A trap he says….how dare he infer that we are trapping something." A raspy voice came from the shadows behind a pillar, and a figure stepped forward. It was a man with long, light green hair; his narrow eyes the color of blood, adorned in the classic Team Rocket attire.

"Oh, don't be so harsh. Children, we could have done better…." A smooth, high, girly voice came from a woman with bright blue hair in two ponytails, her eyes a deep turquoise. She wore the Team Rocket outfit as well, and she was the one who held the net shooter gun in her hands.

Ty snarled across at them. "Unless you people want trouble, let us out of here."

The woman laughed, then walked over and reached through the net, grabbing Ty under the chin and forcing him to look at her.

"Our names are Jane and Luther. We're highly respected members of Team Rocket, and our boss was waiting for you three to leave your sniveling hometown….He'd like a word with you." The team rocket member glared at Ty as she said every word.
 
"I wonder what the Gym leader is like. I hope it does'nt remind me to much of Kanto."

He said, grabbing the door along with Ty, pulling it open, but wondering what it is inside. But then, the three trainers are trapped under a net. He then looks at the two Rocket members emerge, and he clenches his fist in immense anger, cursing at them in anger, quietly however. He then remarks, "Woman you wanna get..", then he looks back at the other two with him, closing his eyes grumbling for a second, saying, "The one time I get the courage to say that line..". But he is still extremely angered, being trapped by Team Rocket members. However, luckily there is something he keeps a secret from all; A butterfly knife. He pulls it out secretly, flipping the blade out, and beginning to cut the net, with success. He then jolts upwards in anger, putting the knife back in his pocket, with fists clenched.
 
They decide to go inside.
*whoosh*
A net from overhead catchs them.
"Team Rocket!"They all shout at ounce.
"Smart children."the woman say's.
"But not smart enough"the man replies.
As they go on with their nonsense rambling,Yuko see's Pat pull out a butterfly knife.He silently cuts through the net.When the two rockets aren't looking,they ecscape.
"Where should we go now?"Yuko asks to no one in particular."Their bound to follow us."
"I know!"Ty exclaims"Mr.Yuzimo!'
"Who-zimo?"Pat feighns confusin.
"The pokemart dude"Yuko answers.Ty and Pat were beginning to find out that Yuko calls everybody,'Dude'.
So they all raced to find the pokemart.They soon found it,lodged in between the poecenter and a small double story duplex.To not cause attention to themselves,they calmly walk up to the counter.Mr.Yuzimo turns to them.
"Ah-"
"Mr.Yuzimo"Ty started"We need help."
"Whuuzzaatt?"
"Team Rocket"Pat chimes in.
"They're after us."Yuko finish's.
Mr.Yuzimo shakes his head.
"Third time this month."
 
Ty and co. had escaped Team ROcket and had reached Mr. Yuzimo,

"Okay, here. Travel through this underground tunnel, it elads to Bambotta Woods! Hurry, before they come!" Ty nodded and dashed down the steps two at a time, pat and Yuko soon following. Ty looked up to see the secret door being closed gently by the manager.

THe staricase was a long circular staircase, rough walls surrounding them.

"Are you sure this is legit?" Pat asked Ty, who shrugged,

"I... I don't know... Look!" Ty reached the final steps to find a long tunnel, grass patches scattered through them. A series of lamps were hung on the ceiling,

"Well, one way to find out.

Ty and co. walked down the mysterious tunnel, ominous noises making their way to our heroes ears. Suddenly, they heard steps behind them. Ty's eyes widened,

"Let's go!" Ty said as he began dashing. Tugging at Pat and Yuko's clothing. A small object darted infront of them and tripped Ty, it was a small, yellow pokemon with a black head, small teeth like objects on the black object above of its head.

"Damn Pokemon." Ty cursed under his breath,

"What is that thing anyways?" Ty flipped out his pokemon and learned about the Meerko.

"I don't think this is the time to do that, Ty." Yuko let out and Ty looked up to find two shilloutes running towards them.

"No more running. Skorch,Ember! Bou, Leech Seed!" The SPutteren let out a row of fiery flame spheres and Bouquail let out a single seed the enveloped the two objects in vienes. Ty walked over to the two figures to find two large dolls.

"Huh?" Ty looked back to find Jane and Luther.

"A fight you want eh?" Luther said.

"Go! Verpourt!" Luther yelled out.


"Let's go Harnail!" Jane yelled out.


Ty leaped backwards,

"Return Bou! You'll get hurt in this battle. Skorch, let's go!" The SPutteren ran forward.

"Come on guys, call out some pokemon!" Ty yelled out to Yuko and Pat.
 
"God damn low Team Rocket members.."

Pat said, however happy that he has his knife at all times for escape and protection situations, though he hopes he never has to use it in a fight. Skume and Bouquail then automatically release themselves from their Pokeballs without permission. Bouquail lands on his shoulder, as Skume decides to walk on the ground. Pat decides to keep them out, seeing as they need training. Skume starts showing off with one Scratch Attack after another, Bouquail charging power in its beak for a Peck attack. Once they all enter the cave, Bouquail is still charging power in its beak. Skume can't help but to laugh slightly when Ty trips. But when he sends out Sputteren and uses Ember, Pat laughs when Skume uses its Gas Attack infront of the Ember, which causes a powerful Fire attack that could possibly match a Flamethrower. Pat then sends out Dolphina to join the battle, but it accidentally lands in between Bouquail and Skume, not always a good idea as the two Pokemon have a rivalry with eachother. However, both know what they must do; Battle with the opponents Pokemon.
 
"Go,Petital!"Yuko shouts.
"Peti!"it cries.
"Razor Leave on Verpourt!"she commanded.
The leaves cut Verpourt."Damn!"Jane says.
"Verpourt,Shadow Ball!"she orders.Petital dodges the attack.A shot of fire hits Verpourt.Yuko turns around and gives Ty a thumbs up.
"Finish it off with a Razor Leaf!"Yuko shouts to Petital.It imidetely spews out rapid leaves.Verpourt faints.Yuko see's Pat give the final blow to Harnail.
"Stupid Kids!"Jane declares"You won't beat us next time!"
The two then rushed back up the stairs.
"Now what?"
 
"Well, that was a battle!" Ty yelled out. Yuko smiled,

"Now what?" Ty shrugged, then looked down at his leg to find that furry pokemon from before,

"Well, we can deal with this Meerko." Ty poked the pokemon which seemed to irritate it, it then tackle Ty in the cheek. Ty went flying backwards a good two feet,

"That's a strong pokemon." Ty said, but then it got closer to Ty,

"Okay, I can see you don't like me." Ty sweatdropped as Skorch stood infront of the Meerko and high-fived it.

"Don't encourage him!" TY yelled out, and Skorch sweatdropped,

"You guys wanna catch it?" Ty looked at the two.
 
"What to do with this small ground Pokemon you ask? I would catch it, but I need to make sure all of my team members all get equal training, especially more or Skume."

Pat said, as Bouquail flew up onto his shoulder, as Skume jumped up onto his other shoulder. He then turns around, as a Pokemon Egg rolls around, finding its way to Pat. Pat picks it up on confusion, but wonders; Should he keep it? He decides to, holding into it. The egg is Yellow and Black, possibly a Shrike Egg. Skume then jumps off his shoulder, wanting to battle, wanting to gain more battle experience, so it can hopefully surpass Dolphina's power. He then looks back at his two companions.

"Would you guys mind if I kept this egg along with us during our Journey? Though I am probably going to keep it.."
 
I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to close this.

I completely didn't realize that this was ripped off of Acantithe, but Charizard_Man, if you can have the original owner of Acantithe PM me giving you permission to use the elements in this story, then I will re-open it.

In the meantime,
