Ok so this is an idea I've sorta toyed with. I have followed Pokemon sort of since the beginning, however as the generations progressed I sorta felt disappointed by some of the changes they made and features they've added. So I'd like to dabble in creating my own Pokemon versions. I'm not a big pokemon/anime fan (as in the cartoon series), and I couldn't possible dream up of a good story so I though I would do a remake with my rules and modifications.

So why not start with the classic R/B/Y version with the original 151 pokemon and their evolutions. However, I'll warn you my plan involves several changes to the Type chart. Some types will be changed for the better and some for the worse. I thought of getting rid of the late "Fairy" but on second though I figure the fairies would be a natural counter to dark and ghost type pokemon.

    Features:
-The original 8 gym leaders, with some tweaks. For example Misty's Staryu gets switched with Seel or Dewgong for increased difficulty.
    Type buffs
-Steel, Rock, Psychic, and Ghost. Get some buff turning them into lethal if not unstoppable opponents, or allies on your team. I.e. Steel gets a whopping 10 resistances and only 2 weaknesses. Rock follows closely with a set of 9 resistances and a few more weaknesses
-Up is down and down is up. Some of the type changes involves make former weaknesses in to strengths and vice versa.
-Type abilities changed. I will add and remove or change some type abilities. That is Electric will no longer be immune to paralysis but to Electric moves that cause paralysis (body slam, and stun spore are still fair game). Steel types will always draw in lightning making electric type attacks have 100% accuracy but and draw away lightning moves from fellow Pokemon in battles.
-Sadly some Pokemon get trampled in the changes, Bug types will be the fragile type in this version as they will have 8 weaknesses and 1 strength. But, who cares they were always weak.

The idea is to make the types make sense, not make them more balance and give a new experience to Pokemon.
