Have you ever played Pokémon White or Black 2 and found yourself thinking:
"Wow, this game is fun and all, but I wish all of my Pokémon were considerably worse?"
If so, then today is your lucky day! Introducing 'Pokémon Wishy-Washy White'. This is a trashlocke of Pokémon White 2 inspired by PokemonChallenges' Emerald Trashlocke. Meaning the enemies are (mostly) the same as the base game, but the tools you get to deal with them are considerably worse!
The rest of the game is unchanged, in order to give a vanilla-like experience, just with different encounters!
Note that the encounters were designed with the inability to trade Pokémon in mind. Changing that will alter the difficulty curve considerably.
Oh, if you end up playing and finishing, I would love it if you could send me a picture of your E4 team. I'd love to see what people come up with, and if you do I'll put the image in the thread as a sort of Hall of Fame.
Release:
You can find the current release, alongside patching instructions and the documentation here.

I want to give a special shoutout to the wonderful people of Kingdom of DS hacking for their help in deciding which Pokémon to include and all their advice when I got stuck on something. In particular I want to thank:

Main Features:- The starters are now Slugma, Paras and Clamperl, with Clamperl now evolving by levelling up while holding the Prism Scale, form depending on time of day (Gorebyss by day, Huntail by night).
- Every wild encounter has been changed to the worst Pokémon available in the national dex, starting with the worst of the worst, gradually going more into the direction of 'mediocre'. Check the documentation for the exact locations.
- All shaking grass, hidden grotto and static encounters have been changed to Unown, which now gives the same exp. as Audino.
- The gift Pokémon have been changed to Ditto(Imposter) and Castform.
- All Gym leaders, E4 and the Champion have the extra Pokémon, moves and items from their challenge teams (the levels are the same). In case it's unclear, you can find the teams in the documentation (though they're the same as a deleveled challenge team)
Spoiler: Show Changes
- Clamperl no longer learns Shell Smash, but can instead evolve by levelling up while holding the Prism Scale. The form depends on time of day (Gorebyss by day, Huntail by night).
- Slugma now learns Flame burst and harden at 13. Recover at 18
- Paras now learn Spore at 6, Stun Spore at 22, Fury Cutter at 13.
- The in-game trades have been replaced with a starter rotation. You can now trade your Clamperl for a Slugma at route 4, trade Magcargo for Parasect at route 7 and Parasect for Clamperl at Humilau City.
- Virbank Complex, Reversal Mountain, Giant Chasm and Victory Road have been split up into two separate encounter areas
- Pokéstar studios can now be skipped (simply go to the dock after Roxy, fight Team Plasma and continue as normal).
- Join Avenue is also skipped.
- Rare Candies have been added to all Pokémarts, to alleviate grinding.
- The Driftveil bottom clerk now sells shards and gems, to alleviate having to run in circles in caves.
- Several pre-Castelia encounters have been made easier to catch, due to the lack of good poké balls available.
- Smeargle now can only have Technician as ability.
- Hoppip now starts with Leech Seed instead of Splash. Learns Bullet Seed at 18.
- Purrloin learns Fake Out at 6, Pursuit at 13, Assist at 21.
- Ledyba Now learns Mach Punch at 9, Reflect at 13, Comet Punch at 17 (Ledian's movepool changed accordingly)
- All wild Pokémon that have a chance to have a held item have had that chance significantly increased.
- Exception being Marowak, which can now no longer hold the Thick Club.
- The TM you get from Cheren has been changed to Psych Up and the one you get from Bianca to False Swipe, to make the early game a bit tougher.
- The TM for Return can now be gotten in Reversal Mountain from the False Swipe guy, without the Pokédex requirement.
- Nearly all TMs that are otherwise unavailable until postgame are added to the TM shops of Nimbasa, Shopping Mall Nine and the E4. The exception are set-up TMs.
- Nimbasa City: TM20, TM23, TM47, TM48, TM51, TM59, TM60, TM87.
- Shopping Mall Nine: TM17, TM31, TM36, TM64, TM79, TM84, TM85, TM86, TM88, TM89, TM91.
- Elite Four: TM02, TM22, TM34, TM26, TM50, TM52, TM71, TM90.
- The encounter rate of Pokémon park is increased.
- Removed the HM moves Dive and Waterfall from the level-up moveset of Pokémon, replacing it with an equivalent water move.
The rest of the game is unchanged, in order to give a vanilla-like experience, just with different encounters!
Note that the encounters were designed with the inability to trade Pokémon in mind. Changing that will alter the difficulty curve considerably.
