    if you're starting pokemon yellow version that team would be good
    blastoise
    articuno/rhydon
    zapdos/raichu
    moltres/vileplume
    mewtwo/dragonite
    gengar

    if you want movesets i can give you some useful ideas
     
    Mewtwo and the legendary birds are unobtainable until later in the game.

    Raichu (breed new Pikachu and thunderstone it, if that's possible)
    Blastoise
    Charizard
    Venasaur
    Dragonite
    Gengar

    Good team for E4.
     
    A good, realistic team to work toward getting (since you're just starting out again) would be something like this:

    Probably all around Lv. 30 - 35

    Charmeleon/Charizard
    Gloom/Vileplume/Ivysaur/Venusaur
    Dugtrio/Graveler
    Pidgeotto/Pidgeot
    Pikachu
    Wartortle/Lapras/Vaporeon
     
    1.pikachu
    2.blastoise
    3.ninetails
    4.snorlax
    5. syther or pinsir
    6.dragonite

    This team should help out. ;)
