4th Gen pokeradar,shinies?!!?!!!

hey i got the pokeradar finally ive been trying no shiny and then i heard about chaining could some possiblly give me a full tutorial on how to chain youtube has nothing but high screeching videos which i put my ears on the line to lisen to the narration and google just has yahoo answers with pople saying your i rock i got all the pokemon and stuff so could someone like previde me with a tut?

What you do is use the pokeradar once catch or "kill/faint" the pokemon then when the battle scene stops more grass will shake then repeat the steps above

And if it is shiny you will see some gold stars go over that patch. If you battle that one it will be shiny.

ive been doing that but there always diffrent pokemons and my chain break sand no shiny pacth yet...

It takes a lot of patience... I managed to get all my Doduos chained up to 40 before I started just reseting and reseting... check my topic "how does chaining work for you." it has some good tips and a guide.

ok i have ben doin the some thing here i have been tryin this all day and i have not gotten a single shiney and r the gold stars really noticeablea?

when i gets up to 5 in my chain it breaks all the time and those shiney pacthes are really noticble i went to one on the way i hit a pokemon

dmon2's walkthrough on GameFAQs has a guide for chaining shines and certain rules to follow when chaining. Some of them include to never touch a tile on the edge, make sure the tile you choose is at least 4 squares away from you, and some other stuff. I can't link you to the walkthrough myself since GameFAQs doesn't let you direct link to their guides.

That guide certainly helped me chain a little better. I finally broke my record today of 16 Dittos by chaining 25 Surskits before it ended.
