4th Gen Pokerus question

when a poke has pokerus, and after a while it turns into that little face near the bottom right of the pokemon's pic, does it still give the extra EVs? I know that means that it cannot be further spread, and im EVing right now, i had been interrupted for a week because of school so it turned into hte face. I assumed that that meant the the extra EV gain ended, but after about 25 ghastly, the the bulk of stats that it normally goes up after (ex. my gengar is lv. 30, i fight a bunch of ghastly till it levels up, and normally the stat increase is around 12, but after 25, the next bulk didnt go up any extra (more htan 3)). So now im guessing htat the little face ONLY means htat hte poke is now quarantined? but still gives the x2 EV gain?

Yeah. It won't get PokéRus anymore, but the effect is still there, so no need to worry about that.
