how do you spread pokerus?

just give it some time it won't spread in 2 seconds around 5 min

Sometimes it helps if you get into wild battles and win. That's what I do.

Well if the smiley face is there already, it'll stop spreading. It needs to be purple and say PKRS above the pokemon's picture. If it's not a smiley yet, then just follow what Ichida said.

no pokerus is a very rare pokemon virus that raises it's stats faster than usual. I happened to get it very early in the game, which sucked cuz it only got my noctowl and empoleon (well it got others I don't use anymore)

its a virus that a pokemon gets that makes it grow faster and i got the pokemon with pokerus from the trade center

^It's legit and can be obtained in-game with no hacking device whatsoever. It's just a matter of luck.

so its a good thing that ure pokemon catch a virus!! is there any control over it or is it about as rare as finding a shiny without a pokeradar?

See I was always under the impression that Pokerus prevented other status ailments, like poison. Not sure if that's correct, but otherwise, there's nothing wrong with it.

It's random. It's harder to find Pokerus than a shiny Pokemon.

Pokerus doubles the EVs you gain, just fo' clarification.

Yea I'd always get it in Pokemon Fire Red, but I have yet to get it in Pokemon Pearl yet and I've played 150+ hours.

I've traded for it. I caught it in Ruby once, but it's gone now.

I had it in Pokemon Emerald when I caught my shiny Manetric (How lucky =P)
