if you have pokemon hg or ss what do you use for your pokewalker? i put it on our puppy's coller and he got me over 3000 steps in just 1 hour. so again what is your strategy if you have the pokewalker

I don't have it yet, but I suppose you could stick on a fan, or your washing machine, lol.

im only in highschool. got 2 more years there. right now imat 3877 i need 8000 to cath either beldum or munchlax

My strategy is to be on the distance squad for my school's track team lol. Minimum of 3 miles per day, not including small walking for breaks and stretching, but it's usually more than that.

The dog strategy, I actually never thought of that one. My strategy is to basically use it when going out to places such as the mall, or when I work out three to four days (at least one hour to one and half hours) during the week. Other than that I have no other special tactic to cheat my way around the PokéWalker to get more steps and levels.

Just wondering. How does it detect your steps?Coz i was gonna stick it into a protective case, attach it to my car (with old tires on) and spin the wheels like mad.If it just detects movement, i'll attach it to a Wii Remote:P

Unlike the older pedometer devices, the PokéWalker includes a more modern software that allows it to recognize hip movement more accurately than older pedometers. It includes MEM sensors that recognize accurate detection of steps being made which lead it away from false tactics. The accuracy of the reading ranges upon person to person, as everyone walks differently, but it works nonetheless.

The original version of the PokéWalker before with GSC never had this advance technology built in and therefore could easily be cheated by shaking it. The new PokéWalker however can bypass the false detection of that.

...Basically how it works and detects one making steps. So using it on a dog's collar it can detect the step movements and read the calculations like it would with a human being making steps.

i did it again to day. in just 7 hours my dog had it up at 8257. i got muchlax from the course champ path. XD

genius!!!!!! im going to put it on my dog aswell. he is so hyper i'll have 50000000000. in an hour. probably not but ill still have alot of points.

sadly there is a draw back. my puppy and my dog play and fight and my walker got scratched on the front. T-T

i'll probably secretly wear it to track and cross country practice haha
