Possible Pokemon songs

    Has anyone heard any songs from Pokemon soundtracks, like "Together Forever" and "Flying without wings"?

    I've done a little bit of research lately and found some songs that could relate to the Pokemon Anime series...

    Creed "My sacrifice" - in the series, Ash has met many people and other pokemon along his journey and made friends with them. The song is about meeting friends they haven't seen for a long time.

    The Hollys "He ain't heavy, he's my brother" - Ash sees Pikachu more than a close friend, he sees him as a brother and he sometimes carry Pikachu.

    R. Kelly "I believe and I fly" - Ash believes that he can do anything if he sets his mind to it.

    Can you lot find songs that could relate to the Pokemon series / soundtrack / cartoon.

    I think there's a Pokemon 2 B a Master tape somewhere in my house that's collecting dust at the moment, but I liked the songs on it...
     
    Yeah, I heard the first three songs you mentioned. I loved "Together Forever" and "Flying Without Wings"--which was such a gorgeous song, seeing as how I loved Westlife at the time! ^_^ But, when Ruben Studdard did a remake of it...I wanted to smash the TV to bits, heh. I like "I Believe I Can Fly" is really good, too. Another song all of you should consider listening to that I think could make it onto a Pok?mon soundtrack is "Soar" by Christina Aguilera on her Stripped album.

    Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
    I can imagine this as a music video for Pokemon Battles on the cartoon.

    Baha Men - Who let the dogs out?
    I laughed when I thought of this. This could relate to dog-like pokemon. :laugh:

    Valentine's Day is coming up, so I decided to do a little bit of research of songs related to AAML. I hope the AAML fans like these songs.

    Everything I do (I do it for you) ? Bryan Adams
    Ash Ketchem climbed mountains, endured cold weathers, etc. Yep, he could do anything for Misty or May (except solving an algebra equation).

    For you I will ? Monica
    Same as before.

    Natural Woman ? Kelly Clarkson (I don?t know who sang it first?)
    Misty is inspired to a water pokemon master. Ash sometimes encourages her to do well. He also encourages May in Pokemon contests.

    I don?t want to miss a thing ? Aerosmith
    I sometimes picture that at nighttime, Misty would look at Ash and describe her feelings in her thoughts, like the song Aerosmith sang.

    Beautiful ? Christina Aguilera
    Ash gets encouraged by Misty a lot, and vice versa.

    Just the way you are ? Barry White (God bless him)
    Ash and Misty argue a lot. I bet Ash and Misty like each other ?the way they are.? (Sorry? :P)

    End of the Road ? Boyz II Men
    Misty leaving Ash to help her sisters back at Cerulean City? possibly, the saddest moment for him because I think he lost the chance to tell her how much he likes her. But I think Misty may return, like Brock did, so Ash may have a chance.

    And who could forget Brock and his obssession with love and women :P , so I added a few songs for him.

    Is there anyone else who can think of other songs that could relate to AAML?

    Ooooh! Pokemon-themed songs! I bet I can contribute a bit.

    (BTW, I own pretty much every single American Pokemon soundtrack to date, except for the Pokemon 3 Movie one, since it's pretty much a rehash of Pokemon Forever.)

    the brilliant green - Maybe We Could Go Back to Then
    A sort of a Misty-leaving type song. "Oh... the day will come and we can begin where we had to end / You're my only true friend, I can't forget you / Long talks and lazy days..."

    Michelle Branch - Goodbye to You
    Yet another song regarding Misty leaving. "Feels like I'm starting all over again / The last three years were just pretend..."

    Jason Mraz - You and I
    Maybe this could be a song about Ash dealing with Misty leaving. There are so many good points in this song dealing with AAML that I can't quote just one. Oh well, I guess I will... "Oh, and with this silence brings a moral story / More importantly evolving is the glory of a boy..."

    The Wallflowers - God Don't Make Lonely Girls
    Eh heh heh...can't forget about Brock! "I gotta make her see / I'm a guarantee / Oh, if she'd only come along with me..."
     
    Ooooh, I got another one! You know that song you always would hear on the radio in the mid-90s (and I think it still occasionally is on the radio) and you wouldn't know who the heck was singing it? I always thought it was Whitney Houston for some odd reason, and now that I think about it, it sounds nothing like her. I think it was on the soundtrack to the movie The Bodyguard. It's called "You Gotta Be" by Des'ree. And it just so happens it was on VH1's One Hit Wonders so that's how I finally found out who sang it...^^; You'll probably recognize the lyrics below. It sounds like one of those inspirational Ash songs they usually put on their soundtracks...^_^

    Involves Misty and Ash splitting up after Ash participated in the Johto league tournament.

    Elton John - "Can you feel the love tonight?"
    Ash and Misty went on so many adventures. After some evidences, do you think that Ash and Misty felt something within them?
     
    Lucky Ones by Bif Naked. For the few, but very poignant, sad moments in the show, this song fits perfectly.
     
    I dont really like pokemon songs- not really my king of music... What I would like to see (or hear)...hmmm....

    I doubt any of these songs will appear in pokemon though, dagnabbit
     
    I thought of another song:
    "The World's Greatest" by R. Kelly
    Even though I think some of the lyrics in it implies Muhammed Ali--that was the movie this song was made for, it really reflects Ash when he wins one of the Pokemon League championships.
