In order, name your fave regions.

I love all of them, but to list them in order of which I like better, it would be (both in the games and the anime):
    Kanto
    Hoenn
    Jhoto
    Sinnoh

But I think they're all really good.

According to your poll & technicality, this thread is already here to discuss favourite regions.

But, I'm not the mod XD.

My favourite in order of prefrence is:
    • Johto
    • Kanto
    • Sinnoh
    • Hoenn

    Not counting the spinoffs.

    In this order:
    Kanto
    Johto
    Hoenn
    Sinnoh

    hmm...what a surprising pattern...

I like them in this order...
    Johto
    Kanto
    Sinnoh
    Hoenn

    hoenn
    sinnoh
    kanto
    johto

it's hard to choose, but when i think of a region i like to explore, it's Johto, definitely..

    1. Kanto
I loved everything about it. Every town seemed really relevant. I love the shape of the map too.

    2. Johto
The map was fairly good. I love most of the towns. I'm not crazy about Olivine, Ecruteak or Cianwood though. The others are great though.

    3. Sinnoh
Pretty good. I don't really like Veilstone, Pastoria and few other places. It's still enjoyable to play through though.

    4. Hoenn
Although, I still like it, there are a few things that I don't love. There was too much water and the end of game was a bit disappointing. I think there are a few great places though. Mauville, Fortree and Lilicove are awesome.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate any of the regions.

    Kanto
    Johto
    Hoenn
    Sinnoh

Pretty much the order they come in! Although, it's a tough one between Sinnoh and Hoenn. Hoenn had too much water in the game, but the Pokemon in Sinnoh are just... weird.

    Hmmm.....

    Johto
    Kanto
    Sinnoh
    Hoenn

Johtto easily tops my list, but it's kinda close between Kanto and Sinnoh

    1. Hoenn
I was very excited of seeing it in the anime, and I loved playing through my sapphire and emerald versions. Tropical climate, lots of adventure throughout the game.

    2. Johto
Johto would come 1st in the anime category (mainly because of the openings :D) But johto is 2nd on my regions list. I loved johto in my playthrough of crystal

    3. Kanto
okay kanto comes 3rd in the anime, but 4th in the games. Ive played through kanto soo freakin much that Im actualy getting a little bored with it. Excluding the Sevii Islands in FRLG

    4. Sinnoh
4th in the anime (Im not used to the new VA's and other various reasons) but 3rd in gameplay. It has a good region overall it just took me awhile to adjust to the new features.

    I'll go with:
    • Johto
    • Kanto
    • Hoenn
    • Sinnoh
Johto is definitely the best region, followed by Kanto. Those two stand out heaps. Hoenn and Sinnoh are both okay, though I don't really care much for either of them.

    Johto
    Kanto
    Hoenn
    Sinnoh

Johto is the most fun reigon, also, there is more cool pokemon and there is less compulsory dungeons.... i think.

    Here is my favorite regions.

    Sinnoh
    Hoenn
    Johto
    Kanto

Why? Well, I believe they got better with each generation. I don't hate any pokemon design with the exception of Manaphy, but I love the Sinnoh story the most.

Hoenn was great as well, only for Emerald, though. If Emerald never came out, then Hoenn would be last. I liked all of the Hoenn designs, except Luvdisc, but I don't have anything against it. And I liked Emerald's story, which is a combo of Ruby and Sapphire, making it feel like a complete game, rather then half of one, like Ruby and Sapphire.

Johto is a good region, but the villains seem to have Multiple Personality Disorder. "We want to make money!" "We want to rule the world!" "Boss! We want you to come back!" Not to mention the horrible levelling and shortness of the region.

Kanto? Well, it's my least favorite, but there's no real flaw. I just find it boring in comparison to the other three. The story's okay, really simple, and the length was a little short, but not as bad as Johto.

But I do love all four of them, and it is a tough call, but this is how I like it.

I'm totally for desert regions. Seriously. I'm rather bored with Surfing freakin' everywhere new. The cave networks (e.g. Pyrite Cave, The Under, The Deep) are a nice change. My only complaint is with the possible "double battle mostly" lifestyle...

    #2: Almia

Torkoal lava surfing for the win.

    #3: Johto

If Whirl Islands was easier to get around, if there were fewer waterfalls (I only had Waterfall on Seaking), it could have been no. two.

    #4: Hoenn

Fine! I lied! Surfing is awesome. Happy?
    Invisible-Kecleonball ftw!
    *kicks a Kecleon*
    "He's turnin' greeeeeen!"

    #5: Sinnoh

HM Rock Climb is awesome. Too much going on. Weather, Underground, contests and the crazy size of gen4 National Dex.

    #6: Sevii Islands

Well, it should be its own region. Like a sub-region or province or
Pokemon Ranger kinda territory. Mt. Ember was cool. (?)

    #7: Orange Islands

Best looking badges in my opinion. Pinkin Berries for the win.
    Pinkachu jwkz r teh fail.

    #8: Kanto

It may be the original land of original trainers, original gangsters (R), original Pokemon, and first fanboyisms (Erika/Misty/Dupleka and Ash's mom were mine), but ten years is enough time for me to give 'er the retro shuffle down towards bottom.

    #9: Fiore

    Wow...
    Four towns...
