    Powerpuff Girls Z in other words, it's an anime version of the American show, rumors have it starting at the end of next month.

    The plot is going to be less episodic than the American couterpart and more based of actual story and such. They aren't sisters in this version, just people at the wrong place at the wrong time...is it weird I think this might make a good show?

    cool ive seen pics of this but didnt know what it was xD, well the japanese version will be a hoot maybe not the american version hhehe
     
    Actually, I think it might be pretty fun to watch, yeah. o_o I do like the character designs - well, most of them. The girls themselves look pretty good, but I dunno about the professor.

    And I'm also very amused at the thought of an anime being made out of an obviously anime-influenced show...

    As well as to bring one of the most successful modern US cartoons to Japan... but mostly for the money.

    Does anyone know how much input Craig McCracken is having in PPGZ?
     
    Basic story outline (prof not being their father, them not being sisters) that sort of thing, but aside from that, nothing really.
     
    I was scared when I first saw it..I love the Power Puff girls the way they are..all small annoying and pethetic, meh the Anime series looks alright though, i'd watch it..
     
    Same with me, Pincushion. I would have liked if the anime character design was more chibi-style than this... o.o But it sounds cool. I'd like to watch it, but I still prefer the Powerpuff Girls as sisters and all.
     
    I heared that this anime is still finding proper sponsors or something...

    But that was a few months ago, so maybe it'll be airing soon?
     
    Wasn't it sponsored by CN from the very start? 'Cause they have the US rights, so need to give the OK to the anime version.
     
    Well no, they gave them the okay to go ahead and do it, but it was just about a month ago that CNAmerica paid for it.
     
    I've known about this since around early April.
    The full name of the show is Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z

    Ah, I wasn't really sure what it was, weren't able to confirm it. And someone told me it was a pilot episode.
