Preparing to Install? o.O

    Sometimes when I go in a folder on my computer a window pops up and says "Preparing to Install..." Then it says something like it can't install because you have to insert a disc to install Microsoft Word with Frontpage. I have no idea what they are talking about because I don't even try to install it. And sometimes that window comes up when I try to play a game. I can't play games anymore because after the preparing to install window comes up it says there was an error and it had to close. If anyone has an idea as to what's going on, please let me know. Thanks.
     
    I've only ever seen that when opening Microsoft Office documents and it wants to install extra components. Do you have Office installed? And is it when you open the folder that it tries to install stuff, or when you open the actual files?
