    What is summer without ice cream... and what is ice cream without its topping?! Vote for ya favourite topping or you got your own combination??

    Mine would be my own combination of chocolate and butterscotch syrup and probably with some nuts... mmmmm *drooling*
     
    An age old question...
    When it comes to a combonation...my own, being butterscotch and/or caramel sauce, and sprinkles (not jimmies!)...and whip cream if the option is given. Never liked chocolate too much on ice cream...or at all ^^'

    ah, oops, got some things mixed up. thought you said to throw the ice cream flavor in there as well. I always read things a bit too fast...I still did say topping though =/

    While it would've been nice to keep just one ice cream topic on the list, I don't see much wrong with this thread otherwise. You're asking about favourite toppings on ice cream rather than the flavour. (Though we could do with a little less food polls around here.)

    Anyway, I usually just go for the ice cream without thinking about the topping at all, but the only toppings I have every so often would be chocolate sprinkles or just the flake on top. I can't stand nuts due to an allergy I have of them, so that would be the only topping I would really edge away from.
     
    I like vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and banana slices. Perhaps some nuts too. Nomnomnomnom.

    Nah, the titles not confusing, it was just kinda me being stupid =p. i read the rules kinda fast, and usually saying the ice cream flavor i thought would come hand-in-hand with saying topings.
    anyway, sorry for the mix up ^^'
     
    My favorite topping on ice cream is caramel.

    In an ideal world, I would always have vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and crushed peanuts. Maybe some jimmies and whipped cream, too, if available.

    After tasting that abomination called sprinkles, I really don't put anything on my ice cream any more. Plain is perfectly fine for me.
     
    Chocolate, caramel, raspberry sauce, marshmallows and walnuts.

    I've only ever had the pleasure of having such a topping once, at an ice-cream shop while I was on holiday, but it was the most delicious topping I'd ever had. *mouth waters*
     
    I leik the Gerri® Combo!
    Strawberry syrup with intermittent cherries placed ever so inconspicuous around hidden under half a can of reddi-whip (X-Creamy)
     
    It depends.

    If it's vanilla, I like peanuts and a light caramel sauce.

    Just about anything else, and I load on the sprinkles, chocolate fudge, walnuts, and all the works.
     
    Ice cream doesnt necersarilyy need topping, i for one use it as a topping! My name is inspired by my fave desert, ice cream and waffles (Gofre is spanish for waffle :P)

    But otherwise it's gotta be golden syrup and sugar strands :)
     
    I usually put fruits on top as toppings to top up the top part of something (did I say "top"?)...
    Sometimes, I use chocolate syrup as toppings, too! Both are great toppings!
