    Story

    Asgard, realm of the gods...
    Utgard, land of the demons...

    Ragnarok--the war between the gods
    and the demon invaders--cast the
    world into a state of violent chaos.

    Overrun by demons, Asgard teetered
    on the brink of destruction.

    In desperation, the gods broke
    the ancient covenant and created
    the black-winged Grim Angels.

    Each armed with a Diviner,
    the angels descended to battle...

    The battle raged on, but through
    their valiant efforts, the angels
    brought an end to the war.

    The demons were sealed away,
    but the gods would soon follow.

    Leaving their power behind in the
    heavenly isle of Riviera, the gods
    entrusted the land's inhabitants to
    watch over it until their return...

    1000 years passed quietly...

    Signs of the demons' return were
    rumored throughout Riviera.

    The Seven Magi, proxies of the gods,
    made a difficult decision for the sake
    of Asgard's continued existance...

    ...To activate the diviner power
    of destruction, "The Retribution."

    The Magi appointed to this task
    to beings well-suited for the job...

    Now, two angels shall descend
    to the sacred soil of Riviera.


    NOTE: Japanese title is, Yakusoku no Chi Riviera.

    Name translations
    English names are listed first, japanese second (Japanese -> English)

    Ledah -> Ledah
    Rothe -> Rose
    Lyuri -> Lina
    Fiaa -> Fia
    Serene -> Serene
    Cierra -> Cierra
    Malice -> Malice
    Hector -> Hector


    This is my Riviera sprite rip project, I've been unable to find sprite rips for the game on the net, hence I started my own sprite rip project.
    I did not make these, I simply ripped 'em.

    It's from Riviera: Yakusoku no Chi, the english name is Riviera: The Promised Land.
    Great game, it's very fun. The story has many references to Norse Mythology, which is a plus in my book.

    Ripping the mugshots are really easy, didn't take me that long just to rip Echtel and Ledah.

    that would rock avatar, I'm loving the style of these mugs.
     
    Hector and Ursula's mugshot sheets have been added, aswell as a few extra notes in the first post.
     
    ursula has no clothes on XD, just a little ribbon
     
    Rose and Fairy mugshots added.

    Chapter 1 mugshots have been ripped, with the exception of the enemy mugshots (Which will be the mugshots I rip last)
    EDIT: Fiaa added.
    EDIT2: Lyuri and Elendia Citizen added.
    EDIT3: Malice and Serene added.
    EDIT4: Cierra added.

    you're doing a pretty good Job so far, i may try and rip ledah's overworld sprites
     
    Seth's (and Seth-Rah) mugs have been added, aswell as an update for Ledah and minor additions to the misc sheet.

    It was never a problem for me, as I have a semi fast connection, though I'll edit that.

    Rose's mugs updated. Only enemy mugshots remaining.
