Hey PC. If this is in the wrong section please move where it needs to be moved. Thank you. ^^

Okay I'm pretty sure many of you have heard about the Psp Go. A new Psp console which no longer has the UMD slot. All the games will be Digitally download-able. I believe it has a 16 GB of space, and the screen slides.

Now I have just a few things to say, and a few question.

Getting the games for the Psp Go will of course not be cheap, but one thing popped into my head while I was thinking about it.

On the PS3 or XBOX360 downloading a demo (Which most of the time would be half a GB or so) usually takes quite a while to download.

With the Psp Go you'll have to download huge amounts of GB's or so I think. Won't it take huge amounts of time to finish the downloads?

Now I have nothing against it's slide feature, actually I don't mind it. So I won't say anymore about it.

The Price of this new console is $249.99 (US currency of course)

Along with every new console that comes out there will be a few bugs.

With all that said, What do you think about the Psp Go, and do you think it's worth it?

I would like to try it out, but if I don't like I would get a refund. ^^

I tried it. Personally while not a PSP owner I have friends who do own the original 1000 series or the 3000, its horrible. The originals feeled heavy and worth the price. This thing is very plastic and lightweight. While sure the screen has the same ratio as the others its smaller and its noticeable. I just can't get over that Sony is practically screwing over other PSP owners who have UMD's. And last but not least is the lack of touchscreen. Seriously Sony if you're going to make your handheld feel and look cheap like a cell phone at least throw in a touchscreen.

I'mma get it for my birthday. October 19th. Counting down. :]
    Keeping my 3000 though.

I'm happy with my PSP-3000 and have no plans to get this version. I'm not going to pay $249 for another PSP when my 3000 still does its job. Sure, there might not be any UMD support later on, but all I have to do is get some 4 or 8 GB Memory Stick Pro Duos (which are real cheap nowadays) and go over my friend's house to download games. He has a high speed connection.
