4th Gen Purple Shellos

On a random sprite generator (which I happen to be using to choose pokemon to mix) a shellos came up and under the shiny heading was a purple shellos, which I own.

Is it shiny?

What kind of purple?? As there are two versions of Shellos, West and East.

West Shellos normal:

West Shiny:

East Shellos normal:

East Shellos shiny:

The first two I assume are the ones you're dealing with. Hope this helps.

shiny pink shellos are red and shiny blue shellos are lighter blue i dunno what is the one you have

I'll just get my DS and check, they're so similar.


ADDED: Nope, i really cannot tell which it is.

Most likely it's a normal, or shiny west Shellos. If not, then it might be a graphical glitch.

It is one of those, I just can't tell which.

ADDED: I can't even find an east shellos (although I want one)

Try looking at it with different angles... your DS's lighting might just be screwing things up.

A good way to tell is to compare it with your Pokedex. That way, you'll be able to tell... as the Pokedex always shows it in normal form. Look for any colour differences between your Pokemon and the sprite shown in the Dex.

yeah, my DS is just a normal so the lighting sux. Just gonna try that.

ADDED: Damn, it's a normal. Well im gonna go look for a shiny, if it takes me all night!
