    hey, i was wondering that when you're trading or in a battle, to chat to each other (i know how to turn voice chat off) do you have to hold down "X" and then talk or can you just talk into the microphone?
     
    be4 you trade hold "X" then make the invitation.If your battling/trading and the chat is on you can't turn off the chat you can only do that be4 you start whatever ur doing.​
     
    At the screen where it says. Standing by... Invite, Disconnect, press X, and that will turn Voice Chat on and off. While you're battling if you have it on you can just talk into the Microphone, you don't have to hold any buttons.
     
    lol I thought he wanted to know if you could turn on or turn off the chat during battle.

    Anyways my bad for my advise, so use Lemonade's advise
