Are you new to mafia and just have some question that you've been too embarrassed to ask? Well come be embarrassed and let us laugh at you while we answer them!

AKA the thread where you should ask anything about mafia or epic mafia - the end.

    Bad genes.

You can redirect it to anyone else as long as it isn't a no-lynch.

Rule #1: Don't trust Klippy. Ever.
Rule #2: Don't trust Deceptio either.

    Rule 1: Always trust Klippy
Rule 2: You can trust me, I'm a politician.

So this isn't a question per se, but something I've been wondering (more in EM than forum mafia) buuut:

If a cop reveals themselves publically and you're the doctor. Do you protect them or not? I say this because it's obvious the doctor normally would save the cop - and as such the mafia will just have free reign on killing every other player in the game. So would it then be smart to purposely not save the doctor and try and guess who will actually be targeted?

I suppose it's a matter of personal preference and risk-taking, on both sides of the matter (if you were maifa, would you risk killing the cop after a RR?).

I've never been mafia in a forum-based game, so I've wondered: do the mafia have a way of communicating and coordinating their night kills/actions?

Well more often than not I would think the baddies have some form of communication outside of the thread. At least that's how it worked in OUaT and for the vampires in GAU. It might change from GM to GM, though.

Most games have Skype chats. PCU never had a Skype chat until the very end of things. aSoIaF had the PM Letters system, but eventually I gave the wights a Skype chat despite not wanting to initially. They used it well.

I personally wouldn't heal the doctor, unless I had no other choice (like there's no other person I trust to be innocent).

I feel like that's what I'd do to. I mean, why on earth would mafia try to kill a cop after an RR when doctor is still living? :s

But again, it comes down to player preference, and taking risks.

Thanks Weiss and Bac for answering <3

edit: So after thinking about it more for a couple moments longer, here is another way to word it:

If the cop role reveals publicly, and the doctor is alive and agrees to protecting the cop. Then the doctor is essentially being roleblocked (without maifa even ahving to do anything) for the rest of the game. That's not something any innocent would want. Right?

Ok, I just found this section of PC and I'm very interested. I have some questions though.

I've seen a lot of "you get auto-death if you miss two voting". Now I'm not sure how fast paced those game's are, but what if I know I'll be offline for a few days? Can I somehow tell so upfront and get a pass for that time?
Should I make sure to not sign on four or six weeks prior to a holiday of 5+ days? What if I'm offline for 3 days every month or so?

Also is there a shedule or guideline as to when (or how often) new games will be released?

There's mentiones about a skype chat here and there but I can't find it. Help?

If I have any other questions, where should I ask them?
