I know people laugh at this pokemon, but I don't. I love the idea of a rock snake and remember it warmly because of it being Brock's signature pokemon in the anime. It's also a pretty good early game pokemon- it's really high defenses and rock typing will high stand tall against all those early route flying, bug and normal types trainers usually have. It's also fun to ride on in Let's Go! It has a cool evolution in Steelix, plus there was crystal Onix!
