Hi Pokemon hackers!
I'm beginning a project based on a pokemon emerald rom.
I'm wanting to completely retile the game.. (cmon, these tiles suck).
My problem is, I don't know how to go about it.
I know that you can insert tiles, but the tutorials that i've seen only insert one "thing" such as one house
or one large square of water tiles and their respective edges/shore
This takes up a whole entire pallet (if im not mistaken..)
So, how would I have to go about tiling the whole map using only the few pallets available?
Also, Would I have to figure out how to redo the water animation or does it automatically go over the water tile when given the water animation byte behavior?
These are the tiles im hoping to use..
If someone is great with this and want's to be part of my hack team, that is great too! but otherwise I'm willing to learn myself, if its a feasable task..
