Reading First vs. Watching First

Do you like reading a Manga first and then trying out the anime or do you like watching the anime first and then reading the Manga.

I like reading the manga first because when you visualize it and then watch it it seems so much better.

Reading the manga if really better to me.The manga could show ypu the orignal things that the anime does not.

Reading frist, aside from the fact that I like manga better as a medium then I do the anime. A lot of things are changed or left out all together in anime a lot, a good exapmle of this is Rave Master. A great manga, vivid story, good art, but look at the anime. More then half of the story was chopped out and it ended at fifty-two episodes, a big difference compared to the fourty-seven volume manga counterpart that is still running.

Plus with manga you can at least give people voices that you want, if you watch an anime and a certian character has a lack of voice quality that you'd want, then by reading the manga said character would at least in your mind have the voice that you'd want him or her or it to have.

Yeah I usually watch first but that is only because I never have any mony to go by the $8 a piece Mangas :P
