    If Red and Ash had a pokemon battle, who'd win?

    it seems you guys might think im stupid or something...
    this poll was just to see if you guys would get the right answer...
    its ash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha.............. im not serious. Red could beat Ash in .0000000000000000758475857845383946285490 milliseconds! :D

    I would say Red being the winner,since he kept all of his powerhouses.like Charizard,Blastoise,Snorlax. He'll probably win without a challenge versing Ash.
     
    RED advantages:
    His starters are all evolved.
    No known losses in the game canon except for the fateful battle with GOLD.
    Trains with more variety.
    None of his Pokemon have a horn to aim for.

    Ash advantages:
    His Pikachu overcomes type resistances.
    More experience (travels to more places than just Kanto and Johto)

    Overall, I'd say RED would win, but Ash might put up a good fight.
     
    If the anime writers weren't there to pull a Deux Ex Machina?

    Red, hands down. He's actually won the Pokemon League, and he beat Team Rocket (who actually posed the threat of a real criminal organization). Has Ash done that? Um, no.
     
    Game's Red is said to be the strongest Trainer of modern Pokemon World, stronger even than Champions.

    Manga's Red is also true elite, he's really experienced and strong. He seems to be the strongest of the Pokedex Owners.

    As for Anime's Ash. He's just a normal Trainer, who keeps losing to Gym Leaders and Champions. He's nowhere near elite, his Pokemon aren't strong enough.

    It's obvious that Red would win. Red is said to be the strongest Trainer of his age. Ash is light years away from that.

    Well I think his best pokemon are .. Pikachu, Charizard, Sceptile, Snorlax, Buizel, Staraptor, Donphan, Muk, Primape. He should of made a Typhlosion and Feraligatr.. -.-
     
    Also, regarding the poll, what the hell is "Akajima" (阿嘉島)? Is it some fanwanked surname for Red?

    And Satoshi's name isn't spelt like that: 聡. It's spelt as サトシ in Katakana.

    This is what I think too. Red is an elite and he can't be defeated by Ash(coz he loses to many elites) :\.

    But what I really don't get is how can Ash battle Red? Ash is the anime counterpart of Red.
     
    Has Ash even scored in the top of a REAL league? Is there even a competition? Red would win, hands down. The only good Pokemon Ash has is Pikachu, and Pika would probably defeat it easily.
     
    I am all for Red because he is cool and clever whereas Ash is just a whinger with a bit of luck every now and then.
     
    Red would totally win this no doubt. He has a freaking Charizard, Blastoise, Venasaur, Pikachu at like level 1000, a Snorlax, and an Espeon.
    Ash got nothing but pussy pokemon.D:< Well except for his old ones, but I don't like his new ones.n_n Second he only made Charizard evolve. Evolved pokemon are stronger than unevolved imo.

    Either of them takes a hallucinogen, causing them to trip to the point of battling themselves with all appropriate Pokémon.

    Seriously, a battle between those two would probably be a close one, not to mention epic. $50 says that Ash would grow a pair and use his stronger Pokémon instead of whatever infant stage weaklings that are currently on his team. (fyi, that doesn't mean I still don't <3 Ash or his team.)

    They are both experienced Pokémon trainers who both use AR for their Pikachu's have great Pokémon.

    The ending result most likely be Red, but in a near-loss battle.
