I have a quick question for you administrators... why do you close a topic before actually knowing what you are reading?? the topic was closed because he was talking about "his banning" which is not true at all, he was asking why someone else was banned for making a poo joke (i believe that was it). if you ask me, that's untolerable.

The topic was completely relevant to discussion, and i have a feeling that not just Plateface and I feel this way.

I would just like to know why it is that no one can prove a point within this community without an administrator attempting to let the problem stay out in the clear. I mean, Plateface read, re-read, and re-re-read the rules, yet you all claim he is wrong.

I give Plateface the props he deserves for pointing out the valid point that still has me wondering why the poor user was banned. He pulled it out of the shadows and put the spotlight on it, so admins, or anyone who can help for that matter, please answer all, actually ANY of my questions if you will. thank you

Well, discussing bans isn't good, whether it's his ban or Krafty's ban. :<

If Krafty wants to know why he was banned, he can e-mail us.

There's no reason for us to discuss Krafty's ban, because there's nothing to be discussed to anyone but Krafty.

    I assume that's what you're asking.

i believe this is more of what we are saying...

the kid started a poll or somethin

    you guys banned him

    platey looked over the rules

what the kid did was not against the rules

why did he get banned when he was obeying the rules??

Rather than reviewing all contents of Plateface's thread that was previously closed by the good Assistant Admin, I'll tell you about the thread at hand which came into question.

Concerning the 'joke' thread that was closed in Other Voting Polls, it was beyond the most extravagantly sickening of polls I have ever read in this forum. And though some of you may consider it 'funny' or suited to be a joke, there are most of us who found it least humourous and more repulsive. It was warning-worthy, if you know what I mean.

I am under the impression that Plateface himself is not aware of the content in which was in the very first post of that thread (meaning the post of the thread creator.) I claim this upon reading his locked thread. He called the thread title "Doh." which was actually changed by me to replace a more strange title that was there originally.

All members and no exemptions go through the forum's warning system of banning. 3 warnings equal a ban to 2-3 weeks, more warnings equal more lengthy bans and eventually a permaban. He was not banned solely because of that thread topic. But if I were to go further into that matter then I would be breaching the rule amongst us staff members to not give information about banned users out to others who is NOT the user in question. So please, I hope you can respect my being secretive.

That's all I have to say. I hope this has been of help to you.

Not biased at all, since he's your pairing ay?

Again, you mods and administrators fail to comprehend the real reason behind my posts. If I am wasting my time fighting for some decency and permission to post intelligent topics at this forum then please! JUST LOCK EVERYTHING THAT DOESNT HAVE PIKACHU DANCING IN A CIRCLE FOR CRY SAKES!

i respect every single thing you mods/admins have to say, but believe me, just because some people find it repulsive means it should be closed?? no offense, but if america were this way, our system would be a mess.

honestly, if it's not against the rules, i do believe that the topic should have been left, the poll still be open, and the user not get his final warning

please, if you don't have a rule that says "if one person finds it repulsive, it's not allowed" then do add it right now, as we are for some reason not understanding that rules appearantly don't matter ;)

EXACTLY, none of our threads that get posted break ANY rules (concerning this matter). Just because a weak-stomached staff admin finds a topic about poo gross (as it is) but takes it in the most intense manner is kinda over-powering your powers.

I can definetly predict that by the end of all this, we'll be banned. Want to know why? Because it seems that PC members are not allowed to voice their opinions!

I suggest you stop. For one, I'm highly offended that I tried to help, though I may have been way off the mark, I would thank you for not realizing that I stated the blunt fact. You pinned this on Krafty's thread, and on his ban. If that's not what you're trying to fix, then don't pin dirt on his name for no reason, because he has nothing to do with you and your opinion on his thread closure. If he doesn't have any issue's with it, don't take advantage of his ban and talk about him behind his back.

Also, I personally don't think you'll get banned for voicing your opinion if you do, it's because you are going about it in a rude, and extremely unprofessional way. This is the most immature way to express an opinion, throwing insults at others, and hoping for the best.

There's a rule called respect, and it's something you get when you're respectful to others. You don't need to tell me "If you'd read the post" in such a condescending way.

I'm sorry I didn't read the first post clearly, but please inform me in a way that doesn't rub off quite so rude.

Hello?! Have you considered the rules you are breaking by posting this and then fighting it when the admins TOLD you not to discuss it?!?! You revived a thread and began flaming the staff who was clearly just doing their jobs!!!

I agree. Expressing your opinion in this manner is extremely inappropriate and is against the rules anyway.

People, you're allowed to voice your opinions, as long as it's done in a civil manner. Snarky posts and veiled insults will not get you very far in dealing with the staff, especially not if you're trying to get things to change.

This thread is heading downhill way too fast, and as such I'm locking it to prevent any further damage.
