Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s release date, a bit of new information, and boxart just dropped — the game is out October 16 on Switch and Switch 2.
was expecting a November release date again, but regardless it's nice to finally have a specific release date
 
I'll be getting it, but I don't know when yet. Might wait a bit or buy it on release, dunno.
It seems to have a heavier focus on trainer battles and less on exploration like PLA did, which is a negative to me.
 
I'm probably going to wait for Day 1 impressions. Then, if the game is confirmed truly polished, it may justify a Switch 2 purchase—even better if they release a special ZA edition Switch 2.
 
I'm definitely going to get it, for the Nintendo Switch 2. Since it would be the first game I'd be playing on the new console, I'm likely going to wait to get the Switch 2 until closer to Z-A's release date. No reason to buy it and have it collect dust waiting for a game to play on it.
 
So excited that it's October instead of November. I have a friend who does NaNoWriMo (National November Writing Month) and is usually busy on November, so October means we can both play at the same time!

We'll probably get another trailer closer to when they release it- they usually seem to do that.
 
It's exactly on my brother's birthday, so it should be a nice birthday present for him. He'll literally buy anything Pokemon-related, so he's sure to get the game.

Unless there's some earth-shattering revelation in a future trailer, I'm probably going to skip it. I haven't seen anything so far that has me interested.
 
I don't plan on buying a Switch 2 anytime soon (too expensive), but when it comes to the Switch 1 version, I will wait for reviews and maybe getting it for Christmas, or a late birthday gift. Hope to get more info soon at the "Pokemon Presents" in July.

Also, when I do get this game, I plan to choose Tepig. As a former Johto fan, I feel like I outdone all the starters in that region, so getting a gen 5 'mon will be a refreshing thing to do. Also, Fire Pig=Bacon Puns. Got to love it!
 
I have high expectations for the megas. Can't wait for the trailers to drop so I can know whether I'm gonna skip it or if I'll bother with acquiring it from "completely legal means" to play on my "totally real physical Switch" as soon as possible!
 
I was hoping it'd be holiday season instead
