    Pocket Monsters Special is a manga series authored by Hidenori Kusaka and illustrated by Satoshi Yamamoto and by Mato before volume 10. It is published by Shogakukan under the Ladybird Comics Special series. The series is popularly known as Pokemon Special, and affectionately abbreviated as PokeSpe (Japanese: ポケスペ PokeSupe).

    The series was published in the United States in English by VIZ Media, yet publication stopped midway in its run.

    Red/Green/Blue Saga (Volume 1~3)
    The RGB saga features the journeys of Red and Green through Kanto, conquering the eight Gyms and the Pokemon League. Later, a third trainer, Blue, comes into the plot. Together, they destroy Team Rocket, an evil organization which uses Pokemon for illegal actions. There are also adventures of Red helping Blaine to capture Mewtwo and saving Yellow from wild Pokemon in Viridian Forest. At the end, Red defeated Green in the Pokemon League.

    Directions: If this is your first time reading manga, we have included a quick guide "howto" image

    CDisplay is a free sequential image viewing utility used in viewing images one at a time, or two at a time just like comic/manga pages. CDisplay was written to easily view JPEG, PNG and static GIF format images sequentially. It is important to understand that this program has NO file write capabilities; files are left totally untouched. To Install: Click on the link below to download setup.zip. Unzip and run setup.exe. An installer will start which will install and run the CDisplay Image Viewer.

    Run CDisplay. CDisplay uses the entire display for images; there is no menu so right mouse click for a popup. Choose load files. Browse to the pages to read. The whole directory will be pre-selected - just press go to read or select a range of the files using left mouse click, shift left click and/or control left click (ie standard windows multiple selection keys) and press ok. Alternatively, select one ZIP or RAR file and press ok. The first page is displayed. Use the space bar, page up, page down, home, end and the arrow keys to view the images.

    = Microsoft Windows XP Users: =

    In Microsoft Windows XP, you can use the Windows Picture and Fax viewer. Just right click on the first page in the directory and choose "Preview" or "Open with -> Windows Picture and Fax Viewer". Alternatively, you can use slideshow viewer. Click "View as a slide show" in the Windows Picture viewer. The slide show controls are in the top right hand corner of the screen.

    Hmm, for first time readers to the manga, maybe it would be better not to spoil it, just a suggestion.

    Well, do you plan on scanlating the whole manga or just a part of it? If there's a way for me to help just tell me. (Well, I can edit manga, putting the translations, not sure about RAW Cleaning... XD)

    yes it was quite fun to do this great manga and look forward to more to come.. it's avail in raw jpg's and in pdf formats.. enjoy it!

    Cool quality but you should start with Johto not Kanto. Whole RGB and Y Sagas were published by Viz. Everybody have seen them.

    However, the scanlation gives us a look how it was originally seen aside from translation. Viz translations were flipped.

    Besides, there is already a scanlation group for the GSC saga.

    Don't mention ZOMGFTA! They forgot about Pokemon. Their Pokemon Project is discontinued!

    It's not discontinued...They're just busy with their other projects. Not to mention VS Stantler is 50% complete right now.

    No one can translate and edit as fast as you wish.

    The percents didn't increase any bit! It's 50% since 3-4 Months!
