Some things, I've noticed I need to improve.
    - Espeon, I don't feel as if Quick Attack really belongs there? Although I could be wrong I want a fast move that strikes quick, and will win a close battle for me, I'm going to raise Espeon in Speed though, so I guess I could get rid of it for a increasing stat move, but then, I do have Psych Up which is about all I need. Ideas?
    - Gengar, I know Gengar is always supposed to be better than this, but I'd really like him to know Hypnosis+Dream Eater, what are some good movesets that tie in w.\ Hypnosis+Dream Eater? Ideas?
    - Pidgeot, I should get rid of Whirlwind? What's the point of this move? Ideas?
    - Typhlosion, does he need to know Smokescreen? I mean come on, this is Typhlosion we're talking about. One of the strongest Pokemon in the game. Ideas?

Thanks for anyone who can give me advice!

well by the first Gym the Pokemon you have can't be any better, however i suggest that you catch a Pidgey or a Hoothoot as they are easy to train at the start of the game and can become powerful very quickly.

Thanks for the input, I'm going to soon add some more to this page, hope you can check my others ideas.

I've added second, third, fourth and fifth gyms, tommarrow I will add six, seven and possibly eight.
I need to find the locations of Move Tutors and TM's.
    Help would be appreciated.

Well, if you want to find the locations of the move tutors and TMs, you could always check gamefaqs. Also, you might want to teach Typhlosion Thunderpunch since you don't have an electric type attack. (forget Leer)
BTW, Quilava evolves to Typhlosion at level 36.

    Mm...
    Thanks for your help skarzor!
I really appreciate it, I will edit the post right away.
Hope you can help me further with the team.

Well I would at least evolve my starter before you face the 1st gym leader, then you can let it be patient for awhile and train your other pokemon. ;)

Skaterz, check out my new ideas for my team.
Besides, I'm not restarting the game, I'm about to go up against the second gym.
Oh okay, my bad. I like how your planning this. Keep up the good work. ;) Jhoto is the best region!!! I'm playing my silver right now! :)

How do you get the poliwag so early in the game with out a rod?

Prob a stupid question, but i would love to know :)

Nonsense, everyone has questions. Even me, what you do is go to the grassy patches just before Prof.Oak's Lab, (Not elm) But the one where you get the Pokedex, go there.
At night time search around near the water sooner or later you'll find a Poliwag(3-5).
    Mind rating my team?
