Although it ended a year or two ago, i'm a bit curious: Does PC have any LOSTies?

I've been re-watching the series from the beginning on NetFlix, and to this day I just think it's an amazing show, one of the best even.
After watching it the first time and turning around to watch it again, you can tell that the writers knew what the story was going to boil down to from the very beginning.

Also, John Locke is a god.

    o yeah.
I watched it on NetFlix about a year ago, I think, although I never did get to finish it. I was either halfway through season five or on season six. I think it was season six. EITHER WAY it was a really great show. |3 Just sucks in shows like that when they keep killing characters you like -3-
Just the fact that Once Upon a Time is written by the same peoplez as Lost gives me reason enough to watch that~

YES YES YES YES OMG OMFG YES!

I have every LOST episode and know so much about it, even the only hinted clues. It is amazing, my favourite character is defiantly Mr. Locke.

Though, being honest, my opinion of the seasons:

    Season 1 = Awesome
    Season 2 = Pretty good
Season 3 = the fudge is this?
Season 4 = Well it is better
Season 5 = Things picking up
    Season 6 = YAAAAAY apartfromtheending

Two favourite characters are Locke and Daniel Faraday.

Yeah, they definitely aren't afraid to kill of some characters in that show. x]
Especially near the end, they start dropping like flies. Either that or they were driven to near insanity.

I remember hearing about that show Once Upon a Time being written by the same people as LOST. I'll have to give it a shot sometime.
I know that Michael Emerson(Ben Linus) is on that Person of Interest show, as well as Jose Garcia(Hurley) is on Alcatraz, which I've been watching those shows occasionally, but it's just so hard to call them by something other than their lost names, haha.

I definitely agree that the middle seasons were a little less interesting than the beginning and end seasons. Once they got into the whole Dharma ordeal it just seemed like the series wasn't making much progress, although I did find Dharma fascinating.

I know the LOSTies were all half-and-half on the ending of the series, but I kinda liked it. :P
They do need to tie up a few loose ends, though.

Faraday was a good character too. Also, Desmond. SEE YOU IN ANOTHER LIFE, BROTHA!

LOST didn't end well for me. The show started out brilliantly, introducing a set of incredibly unique characters, a stunning plot, and careful development. I was literally obsessed with the series, to the point of finishing the first two seasons in less than four days. I hadn't quite watched anything as remarkable and addictive as LOST to be honest [well, there was Prison Break]. The third season was okay; nothing that largely leaves you wondering the hell is happening. The fourth one was also decent, but had plot twists that made me raise a few eyebrows. The calamity started somewhere in the middle of the fifth season. I absolutely didn't fathom any single bit stemming from the episodes. There wasn't a plot to be based on. No actual development, in regards to characters especially. Nothing. It was like the writers were trying explain something that they themselves didn't quite know where it was heading and what it actually is. I had to read summaries and some analysis on each episode to understand what was happening.

Well, obviously, this made me drop the show all together. I couldn't handle the ambiguity and irrelevancy of the plot. I've been meaning to re-watch the fourth season then try to slowly understand the next seasons, but I can't seem to muster the 'energy' to do so. I might some day. I hope. As for who is my favorite character, it has to be Sawyer, hands down. He was the only character that remained consistent throughout the dismays of the show. He had a badass side, a comical side, a charming side, a charismatic side, a romantic [to an extent] side, a callous side. He was the absolute definition of a great character, IMO. Locke/Ben comes second.

I loved the first and second series, then I only watched the 3rd, 4th and 5th series fleetingly. Still haven't watched any of them in their entirety yet, they just don't demand my attention. I watched all of the sixth series. Personally I loved the ending and think it's one of the shows strongest points...

It seemed to be all over the place trying to cram too many themes and symbolism into the plot, but overall it's one of my favourite TV series.

I think the main flaw is they clearly had no idea where they were going to go with the series whilst making the first series. After that they just went in a load of random directions, disregarding anything else they previously set up or changing their minds with how it should end halfway through each series. It's heavily flawed, yes, but it's entertaining enough.

I never watched the show because it seemed like way too much of an ordeal for me, and I thought I would get easily annoyed by something that was set on an island. But I remember when it ended, the whole internet was intensely outraged by the ending and since I had never watched the show and never intended to, I asked a few people who basically told me "they were all dead the entire time".

I hate endings like that. That was the reason I was entirely outraged by the Silent Hill movie (two hours I will never get back) so I was angry at LOST just in empathy for the fans, even though I'd never been one myself lmao.

But I had a discussion with Pikapal about it just last week, and he explained to me that that wasn't true at all... and the people who had told me they were dead the whole time really had no clue what the hell they were talking about lol. The way he explained everything to me with the purgatory and the time-jumping and everything... I actually thought that was a really awesome and creative ending, and I don't see what everybody was *****ing about anymore.

So yeah, that's my outsider's perspective lol

I really liked LOST, but it started losing my interest and being a bit too out there once the magic wheel of time travel/moving the island was introduced. I preferred the stuff before that :3.

The first two seasons were awesome. Then it went down hill. Season Five was when I completely gave up on it- they turned all the remaining characters into whiny little buttmunches and then killed off the rest that were anywhere near halfway decent. And I refuse to forgive them for the ending.

    Spoiler:

And I'm STILL waiting on an explanation for the Hurley Bird :I

They tried to wrap up the Dharma's purpose in the animal studies in the 15 minute thing they made featuring Hurley and Ben after the LOST occurrences, but it wasn't enough for me.

I've been rewatching season 3 and 4, and honestly it's not as bad as I remember it. There were a lot of "Holy crap" moments like when
    Spoiler:
and they start doing flash forwards showing off the Oceanic 6 after being rescued.

By the way, anybody want some eggs? Keamy still makes good eggs, even after the series ended.
