Richard Steel's Battle Stadium

Eh, the haxes weren't too bad. Both weren't all that crucial, and neither would have made a HUGE difference, methinks. But I'm all up for a rematch, I'll be bringing in some new Pokemon, I suggest you do the same!

Be on WiFi in two minutes.

EDIT:

Okie dokie then. Cya online!

Hmmm... we seem to be having connection problems. :-(

Believe me, it would have made a difference.

Alright, let's see how THIS one turns out...

And you haxed me over AGAIN. >_<

haha, I think we both had our fair share of hax! When Cross Chop missed, I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and switch out to something so you could KO it. Claydol took a fall for your ego! XD I was thinking of sending Porygon-Z back in to Thunderbolt you... but I decided that would be kind to the extent that it would seem mocking. Metagross survives Electivire without a critical hit, and you did burn me with Fire Punch.

The only other bad hax was a critical hit with Earthquake (Claydol's Earthquake does squat no matter what), and another critical hit... with Rapid Spin. haha, that one was pretty cool. Oh, and Dark Pulse flinched Espeon... but she was about ready to absorb another Dark Pulse. I forgot you had Calm Minded. I wish I had known you weren't gonna use Blissey, I wouldn't have included my McIceGar! (Oh, and let's not forgot your Psychic lowered the Special Defense of everyone I was sending in against Espeon... that sucked for Blissey.)

It was a good battle, but you left Skarmory in against a Gengar. That takes guts.

Yeah, my one bit of major hax. Actually, switching in like that alone seemed a bit mocking.

Yeah, so that's five or six major haxes to my two, including the stat decrease (I'm not counting the first one, as that's bound to happen at some point). And I bet that you were shooting for that Dark Pulse to flinch me, or else you wouldn't have left that one in. The worst part is I knew that was going to happen as soon as you used that move.

It was a good battle, but you left ----- in against a Gengar. That takes guts.

Yeah, guts. Poor luck and a losing streak, but at least I have GUTS!! [/sarcasm]

>_> Sorry, but that's just really annoying to get haxed twice in a row >_>. I've got a better idea on what to change, at least...

Let's not make a big deal out of this now... the only hax I had against you that was critical was the critical hit against Spiritomb with Earthquake, and coming from a Claydol, it wasn't all that serious. You could have used Rest the next turn, since the Earthquake after the critical hit didn't KO you. The Flinchax sucked for you, but your Espeon had Wish, so she could have easily switched out in order to try to wreck some havoc later (maybe after Blissey and Metagross were down, since you virtually destroyed Skarmory, the only other thing that resisted Espeon's moves). Porygon-Z would have survived a hit from Espeon after a Calm Mind. Not by much, but he would have survived it.

As for Cross Chop missing, it would have ended up the same either way: Metagross comes out, survives a hit, and KOs you.

I'm just saying, don't try to belittle me because I got a bit of hax that didn't really directly influence the outcome. I enjoyed the battles, so try not to make it seem like you feel I won purely out of luck.

Oh, BTW, I didn't even know Dark Pulse could cause a flinch until our first battle.
Spiritomb is so damn slow it's rare he ever gets to move first.

Wait until you go up against a Togekiss of Flinchax Death... happened to me before. Flinches: 4, 5, 6 times in a row. Now THAT is deserving of being pissed off at.

Regardless, Richard, even if you hax 7 times in a row, it is a legal part of the game. We have no control of it, and therefore we can only get but so mad before we say "you know, let me not be a baby. He won, hax or not, fair & square". I just lost a match I was winning from a freeze hax, should the user of Ice Beam feel sorry? No. It was not his fault.

Regardless, are you availibe tommorrow night?

Oh, you're absolutely right, and I understand where Ichaste is coming from, as hax pisses me off too. But in this case, he seems to be taking it a bit out of proportion. Status hax pisses me off (especially Burns and Freezes), critical hit KO/OHKOs piss me off (non-KO critical hits can be fixed, so they don't really bug me all that much, it's more of an inconvenience than a game-breaking event), and flinch whores piss me off (Togekiss, mainly, where you can almost control the amount of flinches you get).

I remember the last battle I had, I lost... I sent Milotic into a Tauntrados, who used Ice Fang. Milotic freezes. Gyarados uses Earthquake, Critical Hit! Milotic faints. Claydol comes out, about 60% health, plans to Explode all over that bugger. Ice Fang critical hits Claydol, and KOs him. Now that's some serious game-breaking hax.

In any event, I should be available tomorrow night, maybe around 10:00pm EST. Why do you ask, you want a battle? ;)

Why, yes I do! My team should have the last holes fixed up. I will be able to battle-granted my schedule doesn't have me on 5:00 PM.

And its true. If there's anyone to curse for hax, its Nintendo. Of course, those haxes against you were unfair. But you can't (and knowing you, didn't) degrade his win over luck on his side. On a battle I had, my opponent used Togekiss (I hate it too). However, not a single flinch. A poke later, I used Noctowl against his Forretrest. My Noctowl had 6 FLINCHES IN A ROW due to Air Slash, and KOed it. But he wasn't angry. Pissed? Hell yeah. But to an extent. He knew it wasn't my fault. Just the way the cookie crumbles.

Now that I think of it, a bit TOO lucky...who uses Ice Fang on Milotic, unless Milotic switched on it...

Last time I tried to manually switch after using Wish, the Wish disappeared. I have no idea why, but it did.

...Dark Pulse was actually the source of BOTH the killing flinchaxes, which also annoys me for some reason...

No, no, I'm not trying to belittle you. It was a good match. It's just...frustrating that I did so poorly when I know I'm better than that. ...I'm also usually a LOT luckier...

In other words, expect me to be back.

The Wish disappeared? It shouldn't have... the only time a Wish is canceled, far as I know, is if the Pokemon using it is KOed. That's really bizarre, are you sure that's what happened?

Anyways, I'll give it to you that the flinchax against Espeon may or may not have been crucial (as I'm not 100% sure what Porygon-Z can take, I haven't really used him enough), but the flinch against your Spiritomb was worthless. Just gave me a free turn of Leftovers. XD Spiritomb vs. Spiritomb was classic... but I think you may have forgotten about my Dugtrio, he welcomed your Spiritomb Resting.

Anywho, I'll be looking forward to our next battle! But yeah, next time, don't leave Skarmory in against Starmie and/or Gengar. heh, sorry, but I still don't quite know what you were trying to pull there. That's in the same boat as leaving Blissey in against a Heracross. :P You gotta be insanely good at prediction to pull something like that off.

well hey.if your gonna be on tommarow night I'd like to face you for a shiny beldum.

Yep I've red (past tense for read?) the rules.

It's actually spelled the same... the pronunciation is what differs:

Present Tense Read: REED

Past Tense Read: RED

Or something like that. XD

Anyways, I'll be on WiFi shortly, just let me add you.

Haha, just letting you know, my team is not Ev trained or bred specifically or anything :P It's a tru blue in-game team so be prepared haha.

heh, I'll... for lack of a better term, take it easy on you.

But in all honesty, an un-EV trained team will sometimes be able to beat an EV trained team with the proper strategy. Anyway, I'm having trouble connecting, so give me a few.

Can I battle you next Steel? Lumine told me that I have a possibility of beating you with my new team

Sure... my WiFi seems to be acting up, so I'll have to see if I can fix that.

DNA: haha, it did squat to Magmortar.

And my Starmie outran your Weavile... that's un-EV trained if I ever saw it. XD
