    Intro:
    Hey! I'm ~Divine~ and although I only started with RMXP Making a few weeks ago, I'm already on my 2nd Game! Kanto Capers doesn't seem to be liked much so I hope you guys like this better. By the way, this game was inspired heavily by Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass. Using RMXP with the wonderful Pokemon Essentials.

    Story
    :
    100 years ago, The Fuuba Region was an expansive world, filled with bustling people who lived in harmony with Pokemon. 18 years later and Fuuba had developed expansively(named Grand Fuuba), adding new towns and new challenges. Sometime between the develop of Grand Fuuba and 10 years before current day, they rebuilt the original Fuuba on a new island, calling it Great Fuuba. 10 years before the present time, rains poured down on Great Fuuba, expanding the sea over the land creating the Great Fuuba of today. In this story, go on the stories of your ancestors and strive for the champion's throne!


    Features:
    - A sea to travel on, but still in routes
    - Only 7 badges as the first one you get for free, The Beginner's Badge
    - Surf is accessible from the first town
    - You find land Pokemon on the small amount of land routes left, while other land Pokemon adapted to water
    - Pokemon such as Pikachu can only be found on land, but others like Aipom have adapted to water life

    Wanted Jobs:
    Need a good scripter who could help me with an all new battle system style

    Progress:
    Mapping for the first 4 towns and the connecting routes is complete!
    Now to event everything after the first route!

    This looks pretty cool, but how much land is there? And how do you go about in the sea routes? Have humans adapted to living in the sea as well or something?
     
    for accessing land i will not say some of it is in plain sight while the rest must be discovered
    every town is sill land as the flood didn't raise THAT high but enough to cover all routes
    after you get the beginner's badge from the professor your mom gives you surf

    btw im working on a prequel called Pokemon FuubaRed Version which will take place 100 years before this game (again, a zelda ds reference)

    Ah, I see. Oooh, discoveries of paths. How awesome. Yay, you've finished mapping the first town.
     
    Just one thing - I hate it when people mix Pokémon with other games, as 99% of the time it doesn't turn out well. If you're using Zelda as inspiration, don't fall into the trap of including loads of Zelda references or any Zelda characters.

    Personally, I wouldn't like a game where most of the game is made of water routes, as it limits the variety of Pokémon you find and means you can't avoid wild battles by avoiding tall grass. Land also lets you create more varied environments such as deserts, forests, and mountains.
     
    Actually, my enthusiasm for hidden routes was real. It sounds so cool. I agree with Wichu about the not going too overboard with the whol Zelda thing. And a few land routes couldn't hurt.

    but i cant recreate it in paint

    there is a land route opposite your home town

    you'll be pleased to know that the water travel and time periods are the only zelda references

    there are also land routes just limited no. of them
    for examp;e you have a choice somewhere in game, take the quick water route or try your luck at the land route which is longer


    would anyone like to see screenshots? if so i'll try to post some

    Oooh yes I would love to see some screen shots the game sounds good in my preferences and I would love to know whether you have made any changes to the pokemon due to the fact that they live in water you cant just live and water for most your life and not expect changes i mean small changes gills, blowholes.

    i'm working on which pokemon shall be adapted to water then change sprites (aipoms tail has become a fin~)

    ANOTHER QUESTION: do you think i should post the fuubaRed thread?

    This game sound O.K.
    If you have too many water routes you will basicly only run into water type pokemon

    what game is it made off of
     
    it is a game made with rmxp not a hack
    so sorry no ips patch you'll just have to wait until the official release


    Now again my questions:
    Which screenshots do you want to see?
    Do you think I should post the FuubaRed thread? (I have to ask.... I don't want it to be like my hacks where I had heaps of threads and got flamed for it...)
